Pros:

Excellent service during check in and breakfast. So nice to be served by staff who care and are clearly very good at their job.

Probably the best place to stay in Carmarthen
Pros:

This hotel is at a great location in Carmarthen. The market and the river is very close by and easily accessible through a short walk. There's a co-op grocery store right across the street. There are so many restaurants and coffee places for your breakfast and meals. We lived in the apartment and it was one of the best places I have ever stayed. 10/10

Cons:

The only minor issue with this hotel was the ingress to parking. It was very narrow but once you do it a couple of times you are good. Nonetheless, this was a great place to stay.

Great hotel with fantastic staff
Pros:

Great staff, very comfortable room. The bath was niiiiice. Good breakfast and the location was very convenient for going out into the town. Quite a hill to get up from the train station, but it was easy going back down!

Cons:

The room was quite warm during the current heatwave. A fan was provided but didn’t help a lot.

Lovely hotel, highly recommended
Pros:

A lovely stay at a super hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely and big, room 2,bed was comfortable. Great breakfast. Have already recommended to people.

A very enjoyable experience and would have no hesitation in staying at the Spilman again.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The choice for breakfast was far more than we expected and was prepared once you had sat at your table so was freshly cooked and very tasty. The room was well presented, and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the ablutions were very efficient.

There was nothing negative about our stay whatsoever

Pros:

Beautiful and clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Small point, we didn't work out that the towel rail was on hot until halfway through the night!! Boiling hot summer evening too. Could also have done with 4 pillows instead of 2 (2 of us).

I would not hesitate to recommend the Spilman and would certainly stay there again!
Pros:

All the staff were lovely but particularly the lady on reception, who was welcoming and beyond helpful.

Cons:

Lovely breakfast with every conceivable option. The sausage was odd.

Would stay again!
Pros:

Staff were brilliant, both at check in and breakfast. My room was perfect for my stay - quiet, clean and felt freshly decorated, cool (a fan provided), all the amenities I needed.
