Pros:

Het ontbijt was uitgebreider dan ik had verwacht. We hadden 2 1 persoonskamers geboekt maar kregen beide een ruime 2 persoonskamer. De dame van de receptie was uiterst vriendelijk en redde mij door een laadkabeltje voor mijn telefoon uit te lenen. Ik vond het bed erg prettig (maar mijn mede reiziger vond het bed te hard).

Cons:

Ik had voorafgaand aan het bezoek een mail gestuurd naar het hotel maar nooit iets terug gehoord. De gordijnen konden maar voor de helft dicht en de thermostaatkraan van de douche was kapot waardoor je alleen matig warm kon douchen. Prima als een hotel iets ouder is maar het moet allemaal wel werken. We hadden halfpension geboekt maar dat zou ik niet adviseren. Schnitzel uit de frituur, niet lekker gebakken friet en een treurig bakje sla. Wel op verzoek op dag 2 groenten erbij gekregen. Volgende keer zoeken we naar een ander adres.

Freundlich, reichlichen Frühstück

Cons:

Sehr weiches Bett... das nächste mal werde ich darum bitten, ein härteren zu bekommen. Das Fernsehprogramm war auch kurios, Regionales Fernsehen wäre schon nicht schlecht gewesen. Das Internet war auch etwas schwach. Vor allem, wenn das Fernsehen darüber geht (bzw nicht geht) aber wir waren ja nur zur Übernachtung dort, also im Endeffekt kein Nachteil für uns.

Pros:

Trotz des alten Einrichtungsstils haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr freundliche Leute sehr zuvorkommend. Zimmer hatte alles was man braucht.

Cons:

Der Teppich im Flur, aber hat micht nicht gestört. Und das ich bei der Buchung eine Badewanne sehen hatte aber auf meinem zimmer war keine. Sollte man eventuell überarbeiten im Angebot.

Für einen Kurztrip zum Biggesee und Elspe zu empfehlen
Pros:

Eine sehr gute Unterkunft für den Besuch des Elspe Festivals. Für einen Kurztrip verfügt das Hotel über alles was man benötigt. Das Personal und der Service sind zuvorkommend und die Zimmer sind super sauber. Das Frühstück bietet für jeden etwas.

Bequemer großes Bett, Balkon mit Morgensonne, neues Bad

Cons:

Alles wirkt wie im Umbruch. Neues trifft auf teils sehr Altes. Die Türen sind in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Frühstück gibt's-bis auf Softdrinks- was das Herz begehrt. Vieles ist leider abgepackt und wirkt billig.

Pros:

Alles sauber, nettes Personal. Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer. Ansonsten ist das Hotel noch etwas altbacken, ist aber schon in Teilen renoviert und modernisiert und alles sauber. Gutes Frühstück, mit vielen Wahlmöglichkeiten

Unbequeme Matratze, zu dickes Kopfkissen
In unserem Zimmer war keine Klimaanlage. Wir hatten Glück, dass es nicht so warm war und genug frische Luft durch das Dachflächenfenster kam. Ob es eine Klimaanlage in den anderen Zimmern gibt, können wir nicht sagen

Pros:

Das Haus ist zwar alt, aber die Ausstattung ist recht aktuell und es ist alles drin, was man braucht. Gutes Frühstück mit relativ viel Auswahl.

Cons:

Der Preis war einen Tick zu hoch. Wäre das Frühstück nicht im Preis enthalten, würde ich es recht teuer finden.
