Great place to stay for relaxing holiday
Pros:

The location is amazing. Beautiful sunrise from your room. Rooms are spacious and clean. Ample of drinking water provided. Showers use diluted salt water which wasn’t bad at all. Staff are very friendly. We didn’t have breakfast included which was a mistake not too many breakfast places nearby and breakfast provided is very nice. You can swim with the turtles early morning. Very cool

Pros:

Staff gentile, camera bella e pulita, qualche crepa sul soffitto, ma per due notti non era certo quella la parte importante.
Bagno bello e pressione dell’acqua okay, talvolta si sentiva un po’ di odore di scarico ma andava via subito dopo
Possibile vedere tartarughe marine direttamente tuffandosi davanti la stanza, barriera corallina molto bella, ristorante buono!
Vibes ottime e relax assicurato!

Sehr ruhige Seite, leider auch Restauranttechnisch nichts los, dafür Sunrise und wirklich direkt am Strand.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft entspricht absolut nicht den Fotos respektive positiven Bewertungen auf booking.com. Wir wurden von der Hygiene/Sauberkeit bis über Ausstattung und Personal sehr enttäuscht. Es ist im ganzen Hotel überwiegend dreckig. Auch waren im Essen ständig Ameisen, die Küche ist extrem schmutzig. Das Personal machte nur das nötigste.

Pros:

That is was right on the beach where we could snorkel amongst turtles, fish and coral every day and the staff were just lovely.

Cons:

The rooms were a little dated and could probably do with some maintenance. However they were large, had hot water and plenty of drinking water available.

The room had a very strong and unpleasant odor of camphor (mothballs) that spread throughout the living room and bathroom. It made me feel physically uncomfortable. This is a safety hazard for anyone allergic to camphor.

To make matters worse, the shower water was very salty. It felt impossible to get clean, leaving my entire body feeling sticky.

Ruim voldoende door geweldige personeel!

Het personeel was werkelijk geweldig. Ik heb me nog nooit zo welkom en op mijn gemak gevoeld tijdens een verblijf. Het waren vijf fantastische dagen, mede dankzij het ontzettend behulpzame, attente en zorgzame personeel. Ze deden er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken en gaven me het gevoel alsof ik ze al jaren kende. Het hotel is gunstig gelegen met een prachtig uitzicht. Hoewel het gebouw wat ouder is, heeft het een authentieke charme. Ik heb enorm genoten van mijn verblijf en zou hier zonder twijfel weer terugkomen.

Cons:

De villa is helaas echt toe aan een grondige renovatie. Tijdens ons verblijf zagen we meerdere muizen en veel onderdelen van de accommodatie waren verouderd, versleten en kraakten. Ook de badkamer van het beach-appartement had dringend onderhoud nodig. Zo waren de flexibele slangen van de kranen sterk verroest, wat geen frisse indruk maakte. Met een renovatie zou deze accommodatie weer veel aantrekkelijker kunnen worden.

Hot shower, we had a problem on the first day but they fixed it.

Cons:

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING with the guy in front of the hotel. He sells boat tours, snorkeling masks…

His prices are more expensive than the places next door, we found out too late. We booked a boat tour with him and afterward he demanded more money than the price we had agreed on. When we told him that wasn’t our agreement, he started yelling at us in front of everyone and tried to intimidate us.

A day later, we saw him arguing with another couple, so apparently that’s common.

I don’t know how the hotel allows someone like that to work with them. It almost ruined my impression of Indonesian people. It was my first stop in Indonesia and I was worried I would have similar problems during the rest of my 3 week trip. Thankfully, he was the only rotten apple.

You can rent snorkeling masks, fins, and book boat tours at the two bars next to the hotel, both sides of the hotel.

Don’t be fooled by his friendly attitude.

Pros:

Personeel zeer behulpzaam accommodatie voor de zee. Leuk restaurant maar ook andere eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Zeer hygiënisch personeel maakte kamer schoon wanneer je wilde. Goed ontbijt en tussen de middag gratis snacks voor alle gasten. Goed in alle opzichten. Ook mooi snorkel rif in zee voor je accommodatie. Mooie vissen schildpadden en soms kon je ook een haai spotten. Voor terugreis naar Balie kregen we ook op ons eigen verzoek een goed lunchpakket mee zonder extra kosten. Geen probleem. Ik beveel het aan aan iedereen om er te verblijven in combinatie met Lombok

The location was perfect ! View perfect! The tap water is salted water btw . Is a very very quiet island . Please bring water shoes with you can’t go in the water without it !! The snorkelling is unreal too i couldn’t believe my eyes !

Mauvaise odeur
Pros:

Personnel gentil et souriant. Living room de la villa agréable

Cons:

Odeurs de remontées des canalisations très fortes dans les chambres qu’ils essaient de masquer avec des parfums, très forts et très écœurants. Une rénovation s’impose : il faut mettre des siphons pour éviter les odeurs.
Propreté douteuse : pas de ménage alors qu’on est resté quatre nuits et trois jours pleins. La douche est mal construite : l’eau ne part pas vers le trou l’évacuation et reste donc dans le bac.
Nous avons trouvé une culotte sous notre lit (avis aux précédents locataire nous l’avons laissé !)

Fantastic + memorable stay
Pros:

Great location, woke up to the sunrise every day! Large spacious room, lovely and very helpful staff. They organised all our transfers and were super informative!

Cons:

All good! We didn’t really mind the salt water shower for a few days
