Excellent base to explore Helsinki
Pros:

Great location, very clean and bright rooms. Lovely bar, bakery and spa and friendly staff.

Cons:

There wasn’t enough storage space in the room.

Great hotel with unbalanced price and value ratio
Pros:

Nice spa and small swimming pool. Location is great and close to all attractions. Our room was facing the park, which was a place to night parties and loud noises. In the morning the park and the street had trash laying around all over.

Great breakfast with many delicious choices.

Cons:

We had issues with our room, which did not have a working bathroom. Staff tried to address the issue quickly, however, we ended up being moved to a different room.

Also, pool policy is set for ages 16 plus, which made our 8 year old very disappointed.

Pros:

Aamiaisella oli hyvä palvelu. Kahvi oli erinomsista ja omeletit. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä.

Cons:

Odotin että aamiainen olisi ollut monipuolisempi. Aamiaisella neuleeni tarttui tuoliin kiinni. Olisin toivonut vastaanotossa suomenkielistä palvelua, kun kirjauduimme sisään. Hotellihuoneen televisio ei toiminut kunnolla, euroviisuilta!

Staycation at the Stunning Hotel St. George
Pros:

We had a wonderful staycation at the stunning Hotel St. George, and the experience was excellent in every way. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are spacious, everything is spotless, and the staff is fantastic.

The location is also perfect - right in the heart of Helsinki, next to a beautiful park. Despite the central location, the hotel feels wonderfully peaceful and quiet.

What I especially appreciated was how easy and valued the staff made us feel as guests. Wherever we went, the friendly staff were immediately there to help, which made the whole experience feel effortless and truly welcoming.

The lovely spa made the experience even more special. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy two different saunas, as well as both a cold pool and a warm pool.

Breakfast was excellent. Even though the hotel was quite busy during our stay, everything was handled extremely well. The food was beautifully and invitingly presented, and the service was first-class. The restaurant downstairs is also excellent.

Highly recommended!

Great choice for business travelers and tourists alike.
Pros:

Excellent luxury hotel in the very center of Helsinki. Udnerstated, classic and sophisticated, with large, functional rooms and great bath amenities. Comfortbale bed.
The hotel best selling point is, in my opinion, the excellent spa with sauna, steam bath, and a very attractive indoor swimming pool; the gym, while not large, is well-equipped.
I did not have the hotel breakfast, but I did get some pastries at the St George Cafe', and the cimmanom rolls were excellent.
The hotel bar is also very nice, and supposedly the cocktails there are top notch.
Highly recommended hotel, in the same league as Hotel Kamp and likely the newly-opened Waldorf Astoria.

St. George’s exceptional lap of luxury, exceeded expectations at the heart of Helsinki
Pros:

My wife and I had an exceptional experience at this hotel, surpassing all our previous stays. The immaculate room, with its captivating art and color palette, exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast spread was abundant and varied, offering quality and variety. The staff, from the reception desk to the breakfast area, was hospitable, engaging, and pleasant.

The modern Thai fusion dinner at Boon Nam (not operated by the hotel) was also exceptional. The quality of the ingredients and the chef's creativity were an adventure for our taste buds from the starters, cocktails, all the way to the dessert. However, there were a few small areas for improvement. The dinner à la carte menu lacked child-friendly options, and the restaurant staff was rigidly unable to accommodate our 5-year-old's request for plain noodles and chocolate ice cream.

We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

As we had a long journey back to Australia , I feel they could have been more accomodating .
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing , also restaurant staff .
Location was great .

Cons:

Construction site outside our bedroom window , room change , then room change offered on our return ,
We were not given the room , on our return , we were promised . We arrived at 2am , so was not in the state of
mind to complain.
