Simple cleaning means collection of face towels, bath towels, bath mats, nightwear, and trash in trash cans.

Since our hotel is located in the shopping district of Shinkyogoku-dori, it is not possible to come directly by car.
If you reach by a taxis, please get off near the entrance of Shinkyogoku-dori on the Shijo-dori side (about 1 minute on foot).
There is no parking lot, but please feel free to contact us as we will guide you to a nearby coin parking lot.

Excellent choice for exploring Kyoto
Pros:

Location is convenient for shopping and restaurants as well as easy walking distance to two subway lines.
Staff are very helpful and facility is clean, quiet and well equipped. We took a premier room with a sitting area and some kitchen facilities. Included a washer/dryer with soap.
All in excellent working order.

Good base for visiting Kyoto
Pros:

We liked our room, it could be bigger, especially bathroom, but it is Japan, so standards are different :) we loved staff hospitality, they were really nice. But most of all we valued localisation of the hotel. It was perfect!

Cons:

Our room had bad smell of dump in it, it was really unpleasant once you entered the room, but when you opened the window it was ok.

We had an incredible and memorable experience at Tokyu Stay Sakaiza Kawaramachi.
Pros:

We surprisingly enjoyed the location of Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sakaiza. It is within steps from Nishiki Market and heart of Kawaramachi. We especially loved the personal touch and interaction with front desk of a smaller boutique hotel. It also offered water, coffee, tea and sake for their guests which is a lovely appreciated touch. It is convenient and easy access to subway/metro.

Cons:

None. We would here if ever in Kyoto again.

Perfect Kyoto stay! Will be coming back.
Pros:

The location was amazing, the staff were unbelievably helpful and kind, the hotel itself was clean, modern and great facilities for me and my boys. Free drinks and a washer dryer in the from topped it off!

Pros:

The hotel is in a great location. We were on the 8th floor which was really quiet. Rooms are spacious and very clean, with additional table and chairs for seating area. As you come out of the hotel you are right in the heart of the markets shopping area. Staff are friendly and there are free coffees, drinks and even 🍶 sake. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Kyoto.locak to metro, buses. Short walk to Gion area and canal side walks.

Cons:

There was not much to dislike about this hotel. Highly recommend.
