Nothing
Cool, remodeled hotel right by pikes place market.
A lot of city noise was coming through the windows.
マーケット、電車、バス、モノレールの駅に近くてとても便利
エアコンはあったが作動していなかったのか、部屋が暑かった。
Excellent location
Didn’t feel very clean, everything was very dusty. Seemed like the room was made up awhile ago but not freshened up prior to guests arrival.
Loved the unique aesthetic but the dark decor did not help the feeling of cleanliness.
Windows faced a wall and alley so no view at all. VERY loud overnight with trash trucks periodically throughout the night and loud seagulls. Didn’t find the hotel-provided earplugs until the next day. Totally understand that the hotel can’t control the outdoor noises but they should offer a sign on the desk to warn guests so they can prepare for a good night’s sleep.
Don't get a room on the alley. There was constant delivery truck activity early in the morning and most of them left their engines idling while they mad their deliveries. Very loud.
Great location one street behind pike place market and near the waterfront. The main areas were stylish. The restaurant and bar were great and staffed by lovely, attentive staff.
The hotel is style above substance. You want a few things in a hotel- including customer service and sleep. Neither of these happened here. The staff on reception were surely and un welcoming- it was as if we were an inconvenience trying to check in. At £250 a night we expected considerably more. This attitude sadly continued throughout the two days. There was no information given about the hotel, facilities or local area which again was disappointing. Then there was the noise- we understood we were in a busy area and the hotel was listed but it was as if we were outside such was the poor standard of glazing. This meant we heard everything day and night including arguments in the alley and the bins being emptied at 6.30am. Sleep was a distant dream! The rooms were very small and the Queen sized bed was pushed against the wall which made it very difficult for sleeping. There were no bedside tables. There was no information in the room. There are plenty of hotels in Seattle that are far better for less money. Avoid this one!
Friendly staff, easy check in, cute boutique hotel, cosy room
Palihotel Seattle is a beautiful property with a lovely staff. It has an excellent restaurant, with exceptional buttermilk biscuits! Its location is perfect, directly across from the Public Market, within a few minutes of the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and about 20 minutes walking to the SAM sculpture garden (highly recommend), the Space Needle, shopping, and more. The cost was competitive given the time of year, location, and boutique hotel design and ambience.
Unfortunately, upon entering our room and glancing out our window to the alley view, we were greeted by the sight of an active daytime drug deal (complete with hoses and other paraphernalia), this was followed a few minutes later by a subsequent drug deal of a different product. This seemed to be a preferred spot for certain dealers, as we could hear more exchanges that evening and witnessed more the following evening. Given this is downtown Seattle, we just let that slide, but unfortunately there was so much noise in our room the first night, we could not sleep at all. It was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel. Granted some of this noise was city noise (sirens, revving cars, aforementioned drug deals), but other noise was within the room - banging pipes, dripping, scratching sounds, some of which would stop when we turned on the lights, others that continued. We contacted hotel staff who said they would look into switching our room for the following night. They were unable to do so, but in the end, did issue a discount for our stay which was very appreciated - on top of the disturbances, our room was not "made up" the next day until perhaps 4 pm, and at that point done haphazardly, leaving dirty dishes in the room and and a wrinkled bedspread hastily folded back on the "made" bed. Our second night, the noise level was more manageable and we were able to sleep most of the night. It was very unfortunate because this is a lovely property in a great location with excellent staff - and we do appreciate the efforts that were extended to us. However, were we to return to Seattle, we would choose another hotel. If you stay here, I recommend requesting an inside room to try to minimize the noise. I hope the property will look into the internal noise with the pipes or a/c or whatever was causing the banging/whining/dripping/scratching sounds.
Great location, nice bar and restaurant attached.
Room was nice but very small.
Love the colour scheme and location.
Room too small and bed in awkward position. Water was not free and mini fridge full so couldn’t put own stuff in it. Toilet door didn’t shut as it’s a sliding door
The interior design an boutique hotel feel
Wish there were two robes in hotel instead of one.
Really friendly and accommodating staff. Hotel is in a great location for daytime and early evening for walking around the Pikes Market and storefront area.
Our room was a bit odd. The hand basin was by the door just as you came into the room and not in the bathroom which I did not like. The bathroom (toilet and shower) had a sliding door which was difficult to open and close and there was no handle. I was there with my daughter and we had twin beds. My bed was not comfortable as it seemed to be on a slope towards the floor. The window was shut but was really draughty and you could hear everything outside. Rubbish being cleared at 4am etc
Excellent location, great for our one night stay. Restaurant was huge bonus- delicious & yummy coffee (& drinks!). Very happy with our choice.
