In need of a complete freshen up

Funky boutique lodge in best location
Pros:

Stylish, cozy travel lodge design; great atmosphere with fireplaced library and dark green rooms. Interesting and thoughtful details made it a delight to stay.

Cons:

The only odd thing was that our room smelled faintly of kelp. I wondered if the dark green paint was kelp-based eco paint, in which case good for them.

Dirty, loud but good location
Pros:

The decorations were nice and the location was great!

Cons:

It was really dingy, everything felt dirty, hallways had a dirty smell, there were garbage bags in the stairwells, the floor in the room was very slanted like the room itself was sinking and felt unsafe, I didn’t want to sleep in the blankets bc it smelled musty and un clean, the windows didn’t keep out any noise and there was a a very loud machine making noises from 5-8am so it was really hard to sleep even with my noise cancelling headphones on.

location was amazing. super close to pike place, food options and light rail stop. very beautiful, moody looking hotel.

Cons:

rooms were very small, not much room to put/open bags, or toiletries in the bathroom, and quite dusty. the fridge is full of snacks and drinks for purchase so there isn't room to store anything yourself. a bit of a loud location, so wouldn't recommend for light sleepers. though the overall aesthetic of the hotel was nice, the actual rooms lacked functionality.

Ok but would not stay there if you want basic hotel service

Centrally located, walkable, nice aesthetic, comfortable bed and shower.

Cons:

Zero cleaning done during a four days stay. I mean no bathmat replacement, no cups cleaned no bottle of water replaced etc. The receptionists were amongst the worst I have experienced in a hotel which is unacceptable for that kind of place. Only one man was professional. Every member of the staff seemed strained out and mad, not willing to do their job. They are a lot of drug addicts hanging out the front of the hotel but that is the whole neighborhood basically.

Would not stay there again.

The location of this hotel was why I booked it. We wanted to be next to pikes place and this hotel was right across it.

Absolutely loved our stay at Palihotel Seattle! Our King Studio Suite was perfect—spacious, stylish and full of personality. The rich colours and thoughtful design were gorgeous, while the large, sun-filled windows offered beautiful views overlooking Elliott Bay.

The location truly couldn’t be better. Pike Place Market is just a stone’s throw away, making it incredibly easy to explore the waterfront, restaurants, shops and everything downtown Seattle has to offer.

Every member of the hotel staff was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our visit. And the bed? Absolutely divine! After long days exploring the city, it was heavenly to come back to such a comfortable and inviting room.

We stayed for four nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Palihotel Seattle was the perfect home base for our trip—beautiful, comfortable, welcoming and wonderfully located. A definite 10/10, and we would stay here again without hesitation!

Perfect location, adorable stay.
Pros:

The location was perfect, across the street from Pike Place Market! The heart of downtown, great views, and totally walkable to public transit. The hotel was charming and had an adorable boutique feel.

Cons:

It was very noisy at night, which is sort of expected with a downtown stay.

Pros:

Cozy place. Right by Pike place market and boardwalk.

Cons:

The parking they offer is 2 blocks away and $30. Per day. When we asked about a parking lot behind the hotel, the front desk person could not give any information. It was $25.00 per hour when we researched and I would not recommend leaving a vehicle there. The garage the hotel uses does have security and cameras, so it felt safer there.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Can't be closer to Pike Place!
Pros:

The Palihotel Seattle was a fun jumpoff point for exploring downtown Seattle. The room, although on the smaller side, was well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The hotel staff were very friendly and answered any questions we had. Check in was a breeze! The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot!
The price for this location is unbeatable. You are literally a stones throw away from the Pike Place market.

Cons:

While the location is wonderful, it can be noisy. Lots of traffic sounds can be heard. A portable white noise machine helped with this.
This is not anything in control of Palihotel Seattle, but the area around the hotel has some less than desirable recreational drug use, however, we were never approached by anyone that made us feel unsafe.
