I booked a one night stay at Hotel St. Louis for a Bryan Adam’s concert at The Enterprise Center. The hotel had just one young man attending to the arrivals at the entrance. There was no place to park on the street. The valet process took half an hour wait. The check-in was a fiasco as well. Our room was not ready at 4PM (check-in time). I requested any other room that was ready sooner. The young lady named Brittany took down my cell phone number and promised to notify me when it was ready. When I stood in line again and finally asked about the room availability, she became testy. I took a chance on her supervisor walking in on our conversation to please help us find a room as we had to get ready and leave for the concert soon. She made her look again on her computer and located a room which could’ve been cleaned and available. The supervisor went up to confirm that the room was ready and made the young lady check us in and give us the keys. It was after an hour that we were finally able to leave the lobby and make it up to our room. I am very patient in my interactions with other people in difficult situations because I know that it’s not their fault that things don’t go as expected sometimes, but the front staff represents the best of a hotel and sets the first impression. In my experience, unfortunately, Hotel St. Louis came far short and left a bad impression that day. I would not stay here again.
The staff were very nice. It was only a 5 minute walk to The Dome Of America.
Park was confusing but they have valet parking and it was only $50 a night.
I stayed at this hotel a few months ago and am a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite member.
About 30 minutes after checking out, while on my way to the airport, I realized I had left my phone charger plugged into the wall next to the nightstand. I immediately called the hotel to let them know. Surprisingly, after checking with the front desk, housekeeping, and lost and found, they told me they couldn’t locate it.
What I found most frustrating is that I called before another guest had checked into the room and, as far as I know, before it had even been cleaned. It’s difficult to understand how the charger simply disappeared.
The manager offered Marriott Bonvoy points as compensation and said the General Manager would reach out to me. After searching through my emails later, I realized I never heard from the GM, and the promised points were never added to my account.
I recently followed up with the hotel to ask about the missing points. They apologized and eventually credited me with 5,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. While I appreciate that they ultimately honored their promise, I don’t feel the overall handling of the situation reflected the level of service I’d expect, especially as a loyal Marriott guest.
Based on this experience, I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

The room was spacious
The view from our windows were of the graffiti and vandalism from the buildings next door. Valet was a nightmare. There was only one person working valet on 4th of July so we missed our dinner reservations and we felt bad for the worker. Room service didn’t change our sheets at all and we asked for that. We stayed 6 nights
Beautiful hotel super charming in decor and the little touches like the record player and retro albums in room. We got a balcony suite . Room was great tall ceilings great shower living area. Down side was balcony was shared by a rail and it pretty much overlooks abandoned buildings and graffiti. And it rained so we really didn’t use balcony. Every one was friendly to the front desk and the valet guys. This spot is great for walking to many places the arch to Busch stadium for a game. We also had massages and we really enjoyed them. Bartender made us a great drink as well. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Location, spa
Pool and space around it was pretty small.
It’s a nice hotel overall.
Well it needs to get renovated the bathrooms especially and the beds. When we arrived I had food crumbs in the bed before getting into it I just had arrived. Parking was trouble and I’d parked in the grave across the street they don’t even honor those tickets. The hotel need to do better! Scenery is nice, gives upscale
Massage was adequate - technique and pressure. I was disappointed in the foot scrub (paid extra, but only lasted 2 min total) and the total length of my massage. I paid for 80 minutes and it was not 80 min it was 70 min, at best. There were also no shower facilities offered after the massage which I thigh was odd. I will likely not be going back to this spa again.
Troy, the bartender was absolutely amazing!!! 💯 Thank you for your generosity and pure connection of social interaction with us and your surroundings. You are a true gem!! St. Louis Hotel is lucky to have you.
Nice hotel with a great atmosphere!
A big thanks to Naveen Kumar, the Food and Beverage Manager. He did an excellent job coordinating the right food for someone in our group who felt sick, despite a very hectic schedule. Naveen is a true role model in guest relations—his top-tier service and genuine care made all the difference. Highly recommended!
