Location and food.
I called front desk to unlock my safety box while I was having breakfast , nobody came . I went out and returned to room late night and the safety box was not unlocked yet . I was not able to use it during my stay .

A genuinely memorable stay. The décor is exceptional, the hotel has real character and a sense of place that sets it apart from anything else in Sa Pa, and it is a pleasure simply to walk through the public spaces. The staff were professional, warm and welcoming throughout, striking that balance of being attentive without ever being intrusive. Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, and the whole property has a calm, serene atmosphere that made it a restful base after long days out in the valley. The location is excellent too, within easy walking distance of the town centre, the Stone Church and the Fansipan cable car station.

The location was perfect near shopping and restaurants. Restaurant had plenty of options and was amazing. The king size bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked fantastic.
Our family of 4 checked in to 3 rooms for 2 nights. We had been traveling via motorcycles for previous 3 weeks and I longed for a decent shower. I booked the 5 star luxury Hotel de la Couple for amazing hotel, amenities, and reviews. My husband and I checked into room 645 and was sorely disappointed that the amazing shower did not drain and water seeped into bathroom limiting my shower time. Maintenance was called and he said he "fixed" it; however, i took another shower and water did not drain and seeped into bathroom floor. I had to go to my daughter's room in a robe to use her shower. I find it hard to believe this problem wasn't brought to hotel attention from prior guests. Do not book room 645!!
Attentive service, well-trained staff, and top-notch rooms and facilities.
While the suite itself was spacious, the toilet clogged repeatedly during our stay. For a room at this higher tier and price point, this level of plumbing issue is unacceptable.
