breakfast was great... temperature in the entire property was uncomfortably warm .... Aircon in the room also did not cool enough even though weather was balmy... bar area, reception all felt uncomfortable... no place to sit in the room... no sofa or chair ... coffee in room sucked...
airconditioning not cooling sufficiently .... should have nespresso machines and pods in every room... staff courteous but service was slow generally...

This is a heavenly place. The building is quite new, but they some how they created the feeling of an ancient monastery or castle. The wooden doors and the numerous interesting features throughout the large complex, as well as in the rooms themselves, make it so interesting just to walk around.
There is a huge Buddhist Temple on the grounds which could easily be missed if you didn't go to walking.
Of course, the cable car and hike up the mountain is a huge feature but I myself didn't do it this time. I was content. Next time!
The cafe/bar is a beautiful space with incredible art and lighting. Like anywhere, it's better when people (guests) aren't on their speaker phones (a worldwide rudeness these days) or the music managed by staff is appropriate. :)
The outdoor pool is surrounded by nature and it really is a delight to be in the water there.
The spa is set beautifully. The team are focused, caring and surrounded by the aura of the place. You can pay a small amount and have access to the sauna/steamroom and plunge pool. The plunge pool is designed as a rock pool and bubbles away while you mentally prepare to get in the cold water.
The breakfast setting is luxurious and rich in variety and freshness. Was an entree for dinner, I had the mushroom soup and I couldn't write this review without mentioning it. It was delicious!!!
All the staff deserve praise and even the young trainees impressed me with their enthusiasm and care.
Ein wunderbares, ganz im Stil eines Klosters und seinem Spirit erbautes Hotel. Sehr ruhig und am Fuße des Yen Tu einfach nur passend. Ein Ort der Ruhe und Entspannung.

Amazing service, food, accomodation, staff, facilities, location and activities.
Highlights were, swimming, massage, gondola and walking up Yen Tu.
Would highly recommend this to friends and family.
Legacy Yen Tu is one of those rare hotels where the architecture, landscape, and spiritual heritage feel genuinely integrated rather than staged. Everything here rewards curiosity!
My daughter and I stayed for two nights and it was three nights too short!
I absolutely loved the daily complimentary yoga class at 7am, the sound bowl meditation journey at 10 am and the 5pm Thai Chi…all facilitated by Hang, such a wonderful talented teacher!
I also had a two hour steam room, body scrub and massage treatment in the spa. The spa in itself is a masterpiece of interior design and my therapist, Thao was extremely good and the treatment was one of the best I have ever had!
The swimming pool and surrounds are pristine, our room with a view over the paddock and the black horses were quiet, spacious and totally comfortable.
The breakfast was extremely varied and delicious!
All the staff were always friendly, helpful and professional.
We unfortunately did not have time to visit the stunning and big gym.
We did do the cable car trips up to the Buddha statue and back to the hotel again, took us about two hours
Even despite the following, I still give Legacy Yen Tu 10/10 as it is an incredible place:
The restaurant is way too expensive for the quality food available and there are no other places around to eat. The property can really make the culinary experience much better.
The swimming pool’s temperature was very high.
The staff’s command of English was a bit poor but it did not make anything difficult!
The ‘village’ feels like a movie set and not authentic, so no need to even go there really.
I was genuinely impressed by the culinary experience here. From breakfast and dinner to the afternoon tea pastries and picnic snacks, every dish was beautifully prepared and full of authentic Vietnamese flavors.
What I love most about Legacy Yên Tử is its attention to the smallest details. It wasn't just the magnificent architecture that left me in awe, but also the thoughtful decoration, carefully chosen amenities, and the truly personalized hospitality. During my 3D2N stay, I experienced the spa, onsen, meditation, and yoga sessions creating a journey that nourished both my body and my mind.
