Great!
Pros:

Hotel is right next to cathedral, very centerly located. We walked to most of the sites and also took buses. There are tons restaurants and shoppings around. We found great indoor market two minutes walk by the hotel. You may order fresh seafood there and they cook for you there. Price was unbelivably cheap. Must try!

Pros:

The hotel has paid parking, and is near the cathedral (this can also be a con since the cathedral bells tend to ring and can be heard softly in the room). The room was clean and spacious.

Cons:

The property is sort of situated inside a no drive zone, and there are particular instructions to follow to get there. While it is detailed to some extent, I would have appreciated some more guidance on a landmark to pin alongside the exit you’re on the lookout for because the instructions only become easy to follow once you find the exit from the highway.

Hotel é luxuoso, bem localizado e os funcionários são ótimos.
Pros:

Hotel é bastante confortável. Tem estacionamento em garagem, com uso de elevador para o carro. Fica muito bem localizado, perto de um dos monastérios e aos fundos da Catedral. Funcionário do check in nos atendeu muito bem, inclusive com mapa da cidade dizendo o melhor lugar para assistir o pôr do sol e demais pontos turísticos.

Cons:

Gostei de tudo, não há qualquer reparo.

Outstanding Hotel
Pros:

Absolutely perfect location. Very old building yet bang up to date inside. We had an excellent junior suite. Very comfortable bedroom; sitting are. Great bathroom with both bath, separate shower, partitioned toilet with bidet.
Efficient, friendly & helpful staff.
Very stylish public sitting areas. And a car park. Would certainly stay in the Áurea Catedral again.

Cons:

One minor minus is the hot element of the otherwise comprehensive breakfast. Unless you were lucky to nab the kitchen staff immediately after the fried or scrambled eggs emerged from the kitchen, both were soon cool to cold and rubbery. A hotel of this quality should really have a dedicated omelette/fried egg type station. And then mini Frankfurters!? Every day. Whatever is wrong with mini Chorizos!

Location was very central. It was an authentic building tastefully decorated and cleverly magnetic. Excellent air conditioning Bedrooms were more that comfortable and well appointed Breakfast when pre booked was worth every cent of the 16 euros per person

Cons:

Noise from outside did not allow you to have French windows in bedroom open for long. Got ripped off by a taxi driver called by reception, when travelling to Alhambra. He also dropped us off at the wrong entrance for the guided tour and we missed the first thirty minutes. To get there was three times the cost of returning. I quoted the taxi number when I reported this to the reception and it totally fell on deaf ears. It left a sour taste.
