Friendly team, great food and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Friendly staff welcomed us to the property and explained the rooms are in a separate building to the bar and restarting which I think would well. The parking was easy. The food at the restaurant was very good.

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like.

Great location, comfy beds
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely. Easy check in. Staff welcoming, great location.

Cons:

Toilet paper needs upgrading too thin. Unfortunately there were issues with kitchen equipment on this stay on both nights we were there. On the 2nd night we ended up walking into brid for a meal as there was nothing on the menu I could eat.

Ok for one night
Pros:

Comfortable bed, quiet room

Cons:

Bedroom door very heavy and could not be open by a wheelchair user on their own. No shelves or anywhere to put anything in the bathroom. Why is the accessible room at the far end of the corridor?

Pros:

Pleased there was a clean bath, not just a shower cubicle.
Bed and bedding comfortable

Cons:

Not much choice of tv programmes
Had to go to reception and request additional tea bags & milk. A cookie and bottle of water would have been welcome
The occupants of the room opposite and adjacent were exceptionally noisy with young children running up and down the corridor screaming and shouting

A couple of days at the lobster pot
Pros:

We liked the fact it isn't joint to the pub so we weren't disturbed by late night drinkers. It has a bath which I love. It's close to town. Plenty of parking. Easy key drop off in the morning .

Cons:

The bed was a tad hard and we had a little wait to be checked in because the lovely guy behind the bar was doing both jobs

Comfortable and quiet but left hungry
Pros:

Quiet, good location

Cons:

Property fine but paid beforehand breakfast at the pub not to be desired. Very small portions for the money paid. Would stay again but would get breakfast elsewhere.

A positive stay.
Pros:

This was a stop over on our way home from Edinburgh. Very comfortable bed, very clean and welcoming. The pub side looked very cosy and busy. We didnt have a meal as went to the beach which was about a 15 minute walk. Overall a good place to stay.

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. The croissants were rock hard, cooked breakfast was ok but the scrambled eggs on toast were overcooked leaving it VERY dry. Maybe it was just a bad day for the chef.

Great spot for a family reunion.
Pros:

Our family descended on the property for the weekend. Almost 30 people at this reunion. And the staff dealt with it superbly. Food and service were consistently good. And an awful lot of patience. :-)

Cons:

On such reunions. The younger folk do not go to bed at 11pm. Perhaps some facility to cope with that?
