Sammy, Kyle and Eliza were absolutely amazing. They made our experience here so much better I cannot wait to come back and hang out with them again.
Jonathan with the valet team was very helpful.
My husband and I traveled to Nashville for our first time with another couple. We all truly enjoyed Nashville and our stay at this hotel which is just a short walk to the honky tonks on Broadway. We didn't realize that the 3 hotels seem to share the same building. We loved our king suite rooms with the kitchen (full-size fridge, dishwasher and 2 burner stove top) and sitting area. Stephanie and Daryl at the front desk were extremely helpful and accommodating. This was an excellent hotel choice!
Sami Eliza and Kyle were so friendly& provided us with exceptional service at the pool bar.
Youssef was AMAZING!!! His service was outstanding. I will be back and recommend this bar. Your organization is lucky to have him.
Youseff was fantastic. We were a large private party and he handles us with ease and kindness!!
Youssef, was amazing, so nice & was fast!!! Thank you so much!!!
This is such a great hotel. We’ve been in Nashville several times, but having a rooftop pool and a rooftop bar makes the stay all the better. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The air-conditioning worked great. The rooftop bar service is really good. Our bartender Youssef made us the best espresso martinis. They make their espresso martinis with actual espresso. They also offer live music at the rooftop on bar certain days of the week. If you’re looking to host a private party, the rooftop bar and indoor or outdoor would be great. If you’re traveling with a group of people, I recommend renting one of the cabanas at the pool. Space is limited at the Paul, so the cabana is the way to go.
Sami, Eliza & Kyle were super friendly and helpful. Great bar staff.
The overall experience was excellent. Great service at the pool and rooftop bar - especially Youssef. Thank you for a great stay.
Youssef the bartender is a gem!
Top notch service he went above and beyond!
This is our first stop, and we will definitely be back!
Gus from the valet stand had possibly the worst smelling breath in the entire city. He insisted on playing clash Royale and ignoring me instead of doing his job like he’s paid to do.
Gus was awesome at valet! Super nice and quick to get me my car!
First, I'd like to thank **Stephanie** for knowing how to de-escalate situations and for understanding that customer experience comes first. She remained calm, listened, and genuinely tried to help. She was able to accommodate my late checkout when I was under a lot of stress, and I truly appreciate her professionalism.
Unfortunately, my experience with **Katherine Romero, the Front Office Manager**, was the complete opposite. When I needed to extend my stay, she told me she couldn't extend my current reservation and that I needed to make a new one. She did not inform me that the daily rate would change and told me I had to decide immediately, assuring me it would be the same. It was not. The rate increased, housekeeping stopped, and the only thing that stayed the same was the poor experience.
Throughout our interactions, every request seemed to be met with "no." Our exchanges remained calm, but I felt dismissed rather than helped. After asking questions and advocating for myself, I felt like I was being retaliated against. Housekeeping stopped despite multiple requests to different staff members. I only received housekeeping for one day after seeking help from the neighboring hotel. When I later requested a late checkout, Katherine again said no, while Stephanie was able to assist without issue.
As the **Front Office Manager**, Katherine sets the tone for the guest experience. Looking at a guest without speaking or simply giving them a blank stare does not make someone a good manager. Making guest felt retaliated against is not good... A good manager knows how to de-escalate difficult situations, communicate respectfully, and provide solutions whenever possible. At the end of the day, the front office exists to provide guest service, and guests should be treated with professionalism and respect.
I believe it is extremely important to be transparent about billing. Customers deserve to be informed of rate changes before they make a decision. The choice of words matters, especially when discussing charges or explaining hotel policies. Managers should take accountability instead of shifting blame to other people, the guest (me), or hotel policies.
I'm especially disappointed because I stayed at this hotel for three weeks and expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, it was not worth it. I've stayed at airport hotels that offered more consistent housekeeping and significantly better customer service.
To make matters worse, I also had a package worth about **$500** delivered to the hotel. While that isn't an extremely high-value item, it made an already frustrating stay even worse. The package was marked as delivered and geolocated to the hotel, yet I was repeatedly told it could not be found and that the person who signed for it did not work there. If the package was in the shipping and receiving area the entire time, why wasn't it checked thoroughly from the beginning? It was only after I stated that I would be requesting police assistance and surveillance footage to locate the package that it was suddenly found within the next two hours. That sequence of events left me with serious concerns about how the situation was handled.
Finally, I want to say that I have a great deal of respect for the Marriott family. I understand they have deep roots in LDS church. Thus I believe they have peacemaking and compassion in mind. That is one reason this experience was so disappointing is that I expected the service at this property to better reflect those values.
Stephanie demonstrated what excellent hospitality looks like. I hope the leadership at this property takes this feedback seriously so that the guest experience better reflects the standards associated with the Marriott brand.
I accompanied my husband on a business trip and absolutely loved my first time in Nashville. Beautiful accommodations and helpful staff. I had blisters on my feet from walking so much and Rachel heard me say that at breakfast and without asking gave me bandaids and Neosporin. It was such an act of kindness. I will definitely come back and stay at AC hotels again!
rfb! is so cute! the patio has a breathtaking view of downtown. great apps, great drinks. youssef will take great care of you! speedy service, delicious cocktails. try the Broadway Barbie!
Stayed at the AC downtown & grabbed drinks at RTB, the rooftop bar. Youssef was a great bartender & gave fast & friendly service. Great spot to stay in downtown Nashville.
Youssef at the Roof Top Bar was sooooo friendly and took care of us in such a kind and considerate way. Even in the rain, this is a beautiful spot.
Youssef was wonderful, friendly, and made a mean old fashioned that fueled excellent conversation with my colleagues. Thanks for the great experience!
