I have stayed an the Beambridge Inn on a number of occasions. Staff are helpful and the room was comfortable. Very good full English for breakfast.
The place closes early on a Sunday evening but clear instructions left.
Breakfast and Dinner were very good.

No fan provided in the sweat box of a room in the middle of a heatwave. Had to have ask the windows open and the room door to try and increase air flow, even at night time. Not suitable for children or elderly who suffer from excessive heat. No bottled water either.

That record temperature was always going to be a stretch but a small fan in the room would have been nice.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. The room itself felt tired and unclean, with worn, threadbare carpets that clearly haven’t been replaced in a long time.
The communal areas are in desperate need of renovation – water stains on walls and ceilings, peeling wallpaper, and an overall neglected feel.
Cleanliness was a major issue. In the bathroom, there was a dirty plastic glass and hairs left on the shower curtain, which is simply unacceptable.
Overall, the hotel feels run down and poorly maintained. With some serious investment and attention to cleanliness, it could be improved, but in its current state, I wouldn’t stay again.

I am sorry to say that we did not stay in the end. Gemma had been excellent in the lead up to our stay. As we had travelled to attend a funeral, she made a room available for 11am.
The approach to the room was very tatty and the room very dated and again tatty. The bathroom did not get any better. We changed into our clothes ready for the funeral and made alternative arrangements. A very expensive changing facility as it turned out.
I am sorry to have to leave such a negative review but that is how it was.
