Pros:

The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Everything was clean and well kept.
A great base for hiking in the mountains - hard to beat the location if that's what you're here for.

Cons:

The hotel is in urgent need of renovation. We expected something a little dated from the photos, but time hasn't been kind, and it shows.
A gym is listed among the facilities, but it barely qualifies as one. It needs maintenance just to be safe, and a bit of care to become somewhere you'd actually want to train.
We were glad we hadn't booked half or full board. We tried the restaurant once, and neither of us finished our plate - no quality, no taste. I know that's harsh, but if you're charging guests for dinner, it should at least be food they want to eat. We can recommend a good restaurant within walking distance: FITZROY
There's a lot of noise in the hotel - dogs barking for hours was just one example. If you're coming for peace and quiet, this isn't the place.
The WiFi doesn't work at all; the connection is painfully slow. I honestly don't understand how this is still the case in 2026 - I ended up setting up my own Starlink dish just to get some work done.
I'm not sure whether prices were higher because of the UTMB race or whether these are the normal rates, but either way it's not value for money. We don't mind paying more, but it needs to be worth it.
Then there are the smaller things that add up: an okay spa, but no towels provided; the restaurant speakers crackling annoyingly; and breakfast starting at 7:30, which suits us as early risers, except we had to wait 15 minutes for eggs or pancakes.

Un grand merci pour l'accueil. Le personnel est à l'écoute et sympathique. Un hôtel où les chiens sont les bienvenus.

Una pausa nel fresco delle montagne
Pros:

L'hotel è situato proprio di fianco agli impianti di risalita, per chi vuole fare delle belle passeggiate in quota è perfetto perchè a 50 mt c'è la funivia.

Cons:

Cercherei di dare una impronta diversa al ristorante, anche mangiando ala carta non si trovano i piatti tipici della gastronomia valdostana.

La posizione è eccezionale, così come la ricchezza di dotazioni (piscina riscaldata all'aperto, SPA e palestra, parcheggio coperto su richiesta)

Cons:

Sarebbe un vantaggio potere aprire la porta finestra ad anta ribalta, senza essere obbligati a tenerla aperta o completamente chiusa.

Gradevole. Non era la prima volta e torneremo
Pros:

Bella struttura tenuto bene con i servizi completi . Non era inclusa l’uso della spa nel pernottamento con Booking.com ma l’hotel l’ha offerto lo stesso.

Cons:

Avevamo una camera bella calda n balcone ma sopra il pub. Un po rumorosa.
