Bedroom very cosy.
Staff were very helpful in reception on arrival.

Cons:

However, the gym facilities were disappointing. Especially in the swimming pool area, which wasn't very clean. There was a leak coming from the tumble dryer in the changing room , there was a large amount of water on the floor This was reported to the staff, but they didn't seem too bothered about it. No one bothered to inspect the area. I waited around to see whether anyone was going to take a look and clean the area. But during the length of the time I was there, no one did anything
I would deem it a health and safety hazard .
I'll definitely stay there again but avoid using the gym facilities.

Cons:

Bed too soft, no bedside plug points, and no proper workspace—the room lacked a desk or comfortable seating arrangement for working on a laptop. Breakfast was repetitive with limited variety. Not worth for the price.

Great location for Bristol aerodrome, good value, nice restaurant/bar area with buzzy vibe and very friendly staff.
Pros:

Very close to Bristol aerodrome which is why we chose this hotel. There was also a really buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant/bar/area which was good. Good idea to have the Starbucks onsite if you wanted a snack as opposed to a proper meal. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

The rooms are quite small.

Cons:

First room smelled damp and wasn’t clean. Second room didn’t smell and was a bit cleaner. Another guest in the lift reported similar problems. Staff swapped rooms without question and as if this was a common issue - but with no apology for inconvenience.

Also a hidden £5 parking charge. It appeared this was included in the booking but in fact it was not. Would have stayed elsewhere if had known as other places would have been better value.

Underwhelming stay, hotel tries to charge for check-in and leisure facilities.
Pros:

Great Gym and Pool but you have to pay extra to use them. These should be complimentary for guests. Bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Check in process is ridiculous. We travelled 4 hours to get to the hotel, we arrived 50 mins early and were told we could check-in early if we paid £15. The rooms were obviously ready and available but it was just a way of tying to make more money. The King bed bedroom is tiny and cramped. We won’t be staying again and will be cancelling out future reservations.

Large modern hotel
Pros:

Large spacious rooms with comfortable bed, new bathroom and coffee maker.
Easy automated check in /check out kiosk.
Gym available and food available to purchase downstairs.
Large free parking area.

Cons:

Hotel situated 25 minutes from centre of Bristol. We had a car but don’t know what public transport options would be to get to it.
