Pros:

La ubicación.

Cons:

Los cuartos no tienen lugar donde abrir las valijas, ni armarios donde guardar la ropa. Es chico si uno quiere pasar varios días .

Had high expectations but was disappointed compared to Amsterdam London and Berlin with limited food information/cho
Pros:

Familiar Hoxton branding. Cool decor. Well laid out room. Great cocktails.

Cons:

Hotel lounge so full of non resident drop ins that there was often no room to sit. Very limited dietary information. Very few non diary dishes and not flexibility to switch ingredients in and out. Very poor room service involving a no show once where they said they had tried to call me three times to tell me and left a message. No one had called my mobile or the room and there was no message. No apology just an impatient question when I complained whether I wanted something else. The room service app was not functioning.

Pros:

Although the place is very well located, has beautiful facilities, and is truly a lovely property, I had several issues during my stay that made the experience disappointing.

I stayed in room 417, and unfortunately, there were cockroaches, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the shower area was especially unpleasant. The bathroom infrastructure also seemed damaged, so the bathroom would flood completely after using the shower.

Another issue was the iron. I was attending an event and needed to iron my clothes, but the iron in the room was not working.

These details definitely affected my overall experience and left me feeling dissatisfied. That said, I would consider coming back because I genuinely liked the place in many ways. However, the cleanliness needs to improve significantly and be much more detailed, because in this case, it was really not acceptable.

Best Hotel in Williamsburg
Pros:

Had an incredible stay at The Hoxton Williamsburg, it truly has everything you could want in a hotel.

From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel so welcome. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest I’ve come across, always happy to recommend the coolest spots in the neighbourhood and go above and beyond to make your stay special.

The room itself was fantastic, but the real standout was the view, waking up to the Manhattan skyline was absolutely breathtaking.

A huge highlight was Laser Wolf on the rooftop. The food was unbelievable, the service was spot on, and the views are just next level.

The vibe throughout the hotel is incredible, both day and night, great music, amazing energy, and a real sense that you’re in the heart of something special.

A big shout out to Don, and the amazing front-of-house team, Trisha and Eden, who made my stay even more enjoyable.

Cool music, incredible food, fab rooms, this hotel nails it on every level. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Williamsburg.

You can’t get a seat in the lobby- v poor
Pros:

It’s a hotel that has grown out of its size - despite been a resident can’t get a seat at the lobby - not allowed to go to the rooftop lounge they are all booked up - what’s the point in staying in these tiny bedrooms worn now amenities to go downstairs without booking well in advance

Pros:

the location and the bed

Cons:

After staying at this hotel for 18 days and paying a hefty bill, it’s disappointing to leave with such a negative final impression.

On our last night, we simply wanted to go up to the rooftop for a few minutes to see the Williamsburg view. We were denied access due to it being “too crowded” and because we didn’t have a reservation. While those may be standard policies, the real issue is the lack of flexibility and consideration shown to long-term hotel guests on their last evening.

After nearly three weeks as paying guests—respecting the rules we were treated no differently than walk-in visitors, with no attempt to accommodate even a brief visit. That speaks volumes about how little guest experience seems to matter.

If rooftop access is restricted, this should be clearly communicated from the beginning. More importantly, hotel guests should be given some level of priority or at least a degree of understanding.

We had hoped to end our stay on a positive note, despite having to sit at the stairs for most of our morning coffee but instead left with frustration and disappointment. For anyone considering a longer stay: being a guest here does not necessarily mean you’ll have access to amenities, not even a few reserved seats in the lobby for hotel guests and don’t expect flexibility or guest-oriented service in any matter.

Unfortunately, our lasting impression is low empathy, and poor guest relations.
