The Drake Hotel

Absolutely loved my stay at The Drake Hotel while I was visiting Toronto. I loved the bold and colorful design of both the lobby, restaurant and rooms. It had such a fun vibe the staff were incredibly friendly. I had breakfast each morning in the restaurant and while the menu wasn't extensive it was delicious. Would definitely come back here next time I am in Toronto.

I would like to thank the staff of The Drake especially, Faegen Greenwood, Adrian, Dana, Zach, Jaz, and Evan for giving us exemplary service during an 80th birthday celebration. The planning was perfect and seamless, the service was extraordinary, the food was absolutely wonderful, and the vibe of The Drake...so cool.

We were thrilled to be able to celebrate with 80 close family and friends at this wonderful and iconic venue. If you're thinking of a celebration, this is your place. We received so many compliments about the party. Some said it was the best celebration they ever attended. I can't thank the staff enough. There was so much attention to detail, so much assistance, and so many external recommendations (TO Balloons, Bobbette and Belle birthday cake) that just finished the night off perfectly.

Thank you all. It was a once in a lifetime experience we will never forget.

Had a delicious brunch at The Drake in the lounge for their Good Soul Sundays! Music was wonderful, and the food was delicious — highly recommend the sweet potato chickpea fitters!
The absolute star of the experience was our amazing server and bartender Brianna. Her cocktails were incredible and she made sure all our needs were met! Will definitely be back!

It’s a one of a kind hotel in the heart of the Queen West district in Toronto

We just went for Mother's Day Brunch and Kia our server was what made the experience. That was on a base of outstanding food, cleverly crafted cocktails and old school vinyl dj tunes throughout the day.

Our server kai was amazing and we all bonded with him very well very friendly and very well spoken

We had a one-night stopover en route from Vancouver to the UK. Hoping for a good night of sleep before the overnight flight to the UK in cramped airplane seats. We reserved a regular room. At check-in they told us we'd been 'upgraded' to a 'studio' room. Great! They didn't bother to mention that the new room was directly over the entrance to the Drake Underground dance club, on a Friday night. As a result, every time anyone came in or out of the main floor entrance directly under our room, we heard the door bang shut (it actually bangs three or four times each time someone goes in or out). And the place was bumpin'. Music pulsed and exuberant (loud) partyers came and went up 'til closing at 2 a.m., when all the club-goers poured out onto the sidewalk directly below our window. Let's just say some folks in the crowd were still feeling energetic. I'm glad they were having a nice time. For us, it sucked hard, and no one at the hotel had felt it was important to warn us of this. Sleep was not a realistic possibility. Otherwise the place was cute, interesting decor, appealing from an aesthetic perspective, etc. All positive qualities were far outweighed by the terrible night of sleep, which kind of is the whole point of a hotel room: a place to sleep. For me at least.

I went to the Drake to get some drinks and wow was I blown away with the amazing service from Kai. They were super knowledgeable about all the wine and food. Made my experience a 5 stars. It was very elevated experience.
