Barranquero Hotel

Das Barranquero Hotel liegt nicht nur wunderschön, quasi schon im Dschungel, sondern ist von den Betreibern Pola und Bruno äußerst liebevoll eingerichtet und wird von ihnen mit Freundlichkeit und Herz betrieben. Ich habe mich dort so wohl gefühlt, dass ich kein Bedürfnis hatte, in den Tayrona NP selbst weiterzuziehen. Man kann auf eigene Faust Spaziergänge am Fluss und die Hügel hinauf durch den Wald machen und hört Brüllaffen und in der Dämmerung morgens und abends (phantastisch: die Hängematten vor jedem Zimmer) die Geräusche des Dschungels (Vögel, Zikaden), einfach wunderschön. Das Essen (und Trinken) war hervorragend und die beiden Mitarbeiter:innen Lauren und Jeffrey so sympathisch wie Pola und Bruno . Ich kann allen nur empfehlen ein paar Tage im Barranquero zu verbringen (und nicht nur einen Nacht auf Durchreise). Ein Ausritt mit Bruno auf Kalif, dem sanftmütigsten Pferd der Sierra Nevada, war ein Highlight, ebenso eine kleine Wanderung zum Merkaba Elixir, einem einzigartigen Ort, der Café, Rastplatz, Aussichtspunkt aufs Meer und gleichzeitig das Zuhause der beeindruckenden Eignerin Valerie ist. Auch habe ich eine großartige Massage von Sommer genossen, direkt vor meinem Zimmer beim Zwitschern der Vögel. Ich wäre gerne noch viel länger geblieben- beim nächsten Mal. Absolute Empfehlung!

Fabuleux séjour chez Bruno et Laurence, qui sont adorables. Tout a été conçu de leur mains avec beaucoup d'amour et de soin.Les chambres sont magnifiques, bien aménagées et décorées. En pleine nature, on rejoint l'hôtel à pied en traversant une chouette petite rivière (très agréable de s'y baigner d'ailleurs). La nourriture est excellente.
L'hôtel se situe à seulement 10 min à pied de l'entrée du parc Tayrona (très pratique)

Schitterende plek en de eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk. Airco werkt goed voor 's nachts. Let op: we moesten wel door een ondiepe rivier lopen om er te komen.

Everything - it was fabulous and Pauline and her husband are so warm and welcoming. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated with plenty of clothes hanging space, tables and even a sofa. I loved the light switches next to the bed. The patio area had everything with a table and chairs, a hammock and loungers. And to top it all of Pauline does room service, simply send a text message and coffee or beer are delivered - i could have stayed so much longer.
Tayrone park is no more than 20 minutes away - what more could you want?

Een unieke locatie met een bijzondere gastvrouw en gastheer. Een ruime kamer, het eten was uitmuntend en alles in de buurt zoals het nationaal park, riviertjes en wandelmogelijkheden.

La gentillesse de Bruno et Laurence, leur cuisine succulente l'endroit de paradis qu'ils ont eux même créée. Nous recommandons sans hésiter.

We loved our stay at Barranquero Hotel. It's located in the forest, only a 10-15 minutes walk from Tayrona National Park's main entrance (El Zaino). It is close to the main road with frequent bus connection to/from Santa Marta yet quiet and peaceful. Amazing bird concert from sunrise. We have seen toucans on our first and tamarins on our last early morning from the balcony. Staff are friendly and amazing.
Passing the 2 shallow rivers is not difficult and adds to the fun part. Cocoa tour option close.

This was our favourite accommodation in Colombia! It’s a total paradise. The property is right beside a beautiful sandy river that you can cool off in and explore. The host also recommended some great rock pools that we could walk to nearby on really beautiful trails. The place has been created with such love and the gardens and decoration are beautiful. The hosts are so helpful and cook delicious food! Couldn’t recommend this spot more!

We had a great stay here. It's a very nice lodge that's accessible by 10min walk from the main road (involves crossing a shallow river). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and helped us fix the air conditioning late in the evening. The place itself is very clean and well maintained and the room was spacious and nicely designed. The breakfast was very good and filling. It's a short walk to the el zaino Tayrona entrance for those planning to go there and they kindly let us leave our bags with them whilst we were in the park. Overall a very nice stay in a beautiful and peaceful place!

Hôtel atypique et situé au coeur de la nature, près du parc Tayrona, et au bord d'un Rio et de ruisseaux.
Balcon privatif donnant sur des arbres.
Laurence nous a concocté de succulents repas tous les soirs !
Bruno est un passionné et est également adorable.
Nous avons traversé la rivière en jeep pour le retour, mémorable ! :)

L'accueil de Laurence et Bruno et de leur personnel a été chaleureux et bienveillant. L'endroit est très agréable, en pleine nature, près du parc Tayrona. Le fait d'avoir à traverser la rivière pour accéder à l'hôtel ajoute une touche originale et ne représente aucun danger puisque un jeune habitant du village, employé de l'hôtel, vient aider. Les petits déjeuners et les repas sont vraiment succulents. Nous regrettons de ne pas être restés plus longtemps pour partager une balade à cheval....
Nous reviendrons certainement.
