We had a pleasant stay overall, but considering the price, we expected much more from a five-star luxury resort.
The hotel’s exterior is beautiful, with lovely pools and landscaped grounds. However, the lobby and guest rooms feel quite dated and could benefit from a renovation.
There are three swimming pools, but due to the strong winds that are common in Paros and the hotel’s location, the water was too cold to enjoy. Having at least one heated pool would make a significant difference.
It was also disappointing that access to the sauna requires an additional fee, especially in a five-star hotel, and there is no jacuzzi available.
We were traveling with a baby, and the cot provided was more like a basic camping crib without adjustable height. It was very uncomfortable to put the baby in and out, so throughout the vacation he ended up sleeping in our bed instead.
On the positive side, the rooms were impeccably clean, housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety of high-quality options.
The pool service was attentive, although at times it felt a bit excessive. Staff would often come to clear plates while we were still eating, which made the experience feel slightly rushed.
Overall, the hotel has many strengths, but given its premium price, we expected more modern facilities and amenities that better reflect a true five-star luxury experience.
What a wonderful resort! We would go back tomorrow, if we could.
1) The setting: An peaceful, elegant, spacious layout, with multiple large swimming pools. (An easy walk to the beach, but we prefer pools.) A beautiful view across the sea to Naxos.
2) The service: Everyone was warm, friendly, professional, and delivered top-notch service. We are not used to luxurious service like this! No one ever seemed to be fake; just a wonderful staff, from the gentleman who greeted us and oriented us to the facility, to the concierge desk staff, to the massage staff in the spa, to the wonderful people in the restaurant (Yannis and Lena in particular). While we did go on a couple of excursions from the hotel, we could have stayed there the entire visit due to the warmth and helpfulness of the staff.
3) The food: The breakfast buffet has endless variety and everything is delicious. Lunch (poolside or in the restaurant) and dinner were both excellent. And of course, the dining room patio has the view of the pools, then the sea, then Naxos. Just beautiful.
4) The location: We loved being away from the crowds of the towns, and being in a peaceful location. We did take two excursions: we walked one evening to the nearby town of Piso Livadi and had a lovely dinner there, and we took a taxi another evening to Naousa and ate at a wonderful restaurant in town. So it's easy to explore other places from this idyllic home base.
With many thanks to the wonderful staff at Summer Senses; we hope to be back someday.
Gostamos de tudo !! Todos os funcionários muito atenciosos e o hotel é muito bonito . Amamos a nossa estadia.

We came as a family — my wife, our two children, and my brother's family in the suite right next to ours — and I can say without hesitation it was one of the most relaxing holidays we've had together. Travelling with kids is never simple, but here everything was made effortless.
We stayed in a Senses Suite and it was perfect for us. Spacious, beautifully kept, with more than enough room for the children to spread out and for the adults to actually unwind. Having my brother's family right next door meant the cousins could run between rooms while we enjoyed a quiet coffee on the terrace. The housekeeping was flawless — every day the suite was reset to perfection, and they were so gentle and discreet around the little ones.
The staff genuinely loved the children. **Maria** from guest relations went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for the kids, down to the smallest detail. At the bar, **Georgios** even made the children their own special "cocktails" without alcohol, and you should have seen their faces.
This is a place built for families who want to relax without compromise. We left rested, the kids left happy, and we're already planning next year. Thank you for taking such good care of all of us.
There are trips you forget the moment you get home, and there are the ones that become part of you. This one belongs firmly in the second category. I travelled here with a friend for a short break, and it exceeded every expectation we had.
I'll be honest: I stay in a lot of hotels, and most are "fine." Good bed, clean bathroom, polite staff — the basics. This was an entirely different story. Here, hospitality isn't a service; it's an attitude. You felt it in every corner, every smile, every "good morning" that was real rather than routine.
Our room became our little nest. Comfortable, spotless, cared for with a level of detail only people who love their work can achieve. Every day some small touch reminded us that someone genuinely cared.
On the food, I'll admit I was completely won over. I have a soft spot for good cooking and here I ate beautifully. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a meal I'll remember for years, and the chef surprised us with every course. At the bar, **Aphrodite** told us stories while she prepared our drinks, and it became the highlight of our evenings.
If someone asked me what sets this place apart, I wouldn't say the room, or the food, or the pool — though all were excellent. I'd say the people. Because in the end they're what turns a lovely hotel into an unforgettable experience. We left with heavy hearts and full smiles, and one thing is certain: we'll be back. Thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts.
I've travelled a fair bit, but I rarely feel the need to sit down and write a review with this much gratitude. A couple of friends and I booked a few days here on a whim, and it turned into one of the most beautiful little holidays we've had together.
Let me start with the thing that matters most to me: professionalism paired with genuine human warmth. When we asked about excursions in the area, **Iakovos**, the concierge, sat down with us and built an entire itinerary of suggestions — places we'd never have found on our own. That kind of care can't be bought; it comes from real passion for the work.
Our room was our sanctuary. Clean down to the last corner, always tidy, with that fresh scent that greets you every time you open the door. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention — the rooms were kept to a standard that genuinely made us appreciate the effort behind every detail.
The dining was dazzling. At the main restaurant, **Berlinda**, the captain, remembered even our small preferences from the day before — how I take my coffee, what one of my friends doesn't eat. That kind of personal attention is rare. The kitchen sent out plates that left us silent with pleasure.
What moved me most was that the same language was spoken everywhere — from reception to the kitchen — true hospitality. Everyone worked toward the same thing: making us feel special. And they more than succeeded. We've already promised ourselves we'll return.
I came here with two close friends for a long-overdue getaway, and honestly we're still talking about it weeks later. From the moment we walked in, the welcome set the tone. The team at reception checked us in with such warmth that it felt less like arriving at a hotel and more like being expected by old friends. When we had a question about the room, **Ioanna** from the front office came by personally to make sure everything was perfect. That kind of attention tells you everything about a place.
The room was immaculate. Every single day we'd come back from breakfast to find it spotless, beds made to perfection, our little things tidied with real care. One afternoon I left a bracelet on the nightstand and that evening found it placed neatly on the pillow. It's those small gestures that stay with you.
The food deserves its own paragraph. We ate like queens. Dinner at the hotel's signature restaurant was one of the best meals any of us had had in years, and the kitchen clearly works with soul. The bar became our nightly ritual too — **Angelos** made cocktails that we genuinely looked forward to all day.
This isn't just a beautiful hotel. It's people who care, details that show love, and a sense of being truly looked after. We left already planning to come back. Thank you for everything
What should have been a relaxing hotel stay turned into one of the most unpleasant hospitality experiences I’ve ever had.
The most ridiculous part of the stay was being told we were not allowed to order from the room service menu while sitting at a table in the hotel restaurant — despite the food coming from the exact same kitchen, and despite the restaurant being almost completely empty. Instead of handling the request professionally or with any flexibility, both the hotel manager and reception manager responded with sarcasm, rudeness, and a completely dismissive attitude.
It was honestly shocking to witness management behave in such an unwelcoming and arrogant manner toward paying guests.
What makes this even more disappointing is that many of the other staff members were absolutely lovely — warm, polite, and clearly embarrassed by the behaviour of management. Several employees showed genuine kindness and professionalism, which unfortunately was completely overshadowed by the attitude at the top.
A hotel is defined by how guests are treated, and in this case the management made the entire stay feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Overall, this was a dreadful experience and I would strongly warn others against booking this hotel. There are far better places to stay where guests are treated with basic respect and courtesy.
Location, facilities, view over ocean and Naxos island. Amazing staff, extremely friendly, helpful and consummate professionals. Great main restaurant - even if Galazia Hytra was still closed that early in season.
Unfortunately too early to enjoy the full Hytra experience.
I have NEVER been to a hotel where the staff was so helpful and attentive and cleanliness was such a priority! This includes various Four Seasons, St Regis' and other upper scale resorts. This resort is the best place to stay in Paros! Most rooms have some sort of view of the sea and are spacious. There are multiple pools and a great spa.. We stayed for 10 days and it was absolutely wonderful. We booked well in advance and got a great rate. We were there in mid-May, so before crazy season starts. There were times when we had the pool to ourselves and the restaurant. Each of the staff took the time to greet us, make sure we had what we needed and were taken care of in every way. Special shout out to Alex, the bellman, the Barrista, and Lina, the hostess in the restaurant each morning. And Chef Yiannis produced amazing dishes and hosted a wonderful cooking class that my wife and I attended. I have never seen hotel staff actively mopping the pool deck, but every day, staffers were patrolling the pool with a mop and touching up spots they deemed in need of a mop! Each day, our room was freshly mopped and boxed water and towells were replinished twice each day. We enjoyed our stay immensly and will be back on our next visit to Paros!
