Prendo in prestito (con il dovuto rispetto) il celebre titolo di Primo Levi: Se questo è un uomo. La mia recensione potrebbe invece intitolarsi: “Se questo è un letto…”.

Ho soggiornato in questo B&B per una sola notte. Per fortuna.

Quando si sceglie di ospitare qualcuno, si dà per scontato che almeno il letto matrimoniale sia… matrimoniale. Qui invece mi sono ritrovato su quello che definirei affettuosamente il letto delle Barbie: piccolo, inconsistente e con una straordinaria capacità di arrotolare entrambi gli occupanti verso il centro. Più che dormire, si partecipa a un esperimento di gravità.

Risultato? Notte pessima e riposo inesistente.

Per il resto, nulla di drammatico: la signora alla reception è stata cortese, con quella discrezione tipicamente trevigiana; gli arredi sono un po’ vissuti, ma ancora dignitosi.

Se proprio devo essere pignolo, suggerirei anche un deodorante per l’ingresso: l’odore del vano scale richiama il fascino dei palazzi storici… ma anche qualcosa che preferisco lasciare all’immaginazione del lettore.

La mia proposta al proprietario è semplice: cinque notti consecutive nella stanza 22, dormendo sullo stesso letto che offre agli ospiti. Credo che dopo la seconda notte il problema sarebbe già risolto.

Un vero peccato, perché Treviso è una città splendida, curata e piacevolissima da visitare. Meritava decisamente un finale di giornata migliore.

Pros:

Tres agréable hotel magnifiquement situé en plein centre de Trevise. Les chambres sont grandes et tres confortable. Un peu bruyantes par contre quand on est coté rue.

Pros:

Fabulous location, lovely room. Some rooms have steps in them so if that's an issue maybe ask for no steps. Very nice lady at the reception

Cons:

All small things: No tissues, nowhere to place soap, shampoo, etc in the shower, pillows are the usual hard stuff found all over Italy.

The main door is opened with a code, so be sure to keep the code in a safe place as this will lessen your stress level. Can you tell I didn't? 😂

The hotel in the center of central square.
Pros:

The hotel is very clean and nice. Room we had was perfect size, with a big bathroom. Amenities were excelent too. But what counts most is a fact that it is positioned on a main square of the old city. Everything was short walk away.
The lady thst works on a reception was great person to meet, and her english is very good.

Cons:

I liked everything.
