Where do i start. We made a booking of 3 adults 2 children 2 rooms, as we booked in the landlord told us under no circumstances were children allowed in the bar or beer garden at Any time. My daughters room was grubby with one bed the slats had gone the bed was ready to collapse, they put a sheet of hard plywood under the mattress it was like sleeping on the floor. Our room was no better stains on the carpet ,smelly and dirty. We had a TV bracket on the wall but NO TV.. our bedroom window was held open by a cup lodged under it. All in all please don't waste your money on this accommodation

I had to clean the toilet prior to using it.
The toilet had a leak around the base.
Side of the toilet was disgusting.
Bugs and stains on the bathroom floor.
Thick dust on the top of the headboard, bedside table lamp and woodwork.
Stains on the duvet cover and pillow cases so checked the bed.
Bugs in the bed. I checked the website and no other rooms were available so I left the keys on the bed and walked straight back out again.
I’ve asked for a refund via the property and booking.com as £85 for that room I was in for less than an hour. It’s a shame I can only post 4 photos as I’ve got 15 😡😡

The cleanliness standards were extremely poor, with the property appearing unclean and not as advertised. The overall condition of the hotel left us feeling uneasy, and we did not feel confident that it would be a safe or comfortable place to stay.

Lovely accommodation
Pros:

Paul and the team are so friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Beds were a bit hard but to be expected. Some loud music from a neighbouring pub but nothing to do with St Ives.

Perfect for what we needed.
Pros:

The Location was ideal for the venue we were visiting, the triple room was very clean and had everything we needed, a very short walk to the concert we were going to see, an added bonus was the bar below had on entertainment too.

Cons:

Would of been great if the bar below opened for breakfast.

A great place to stay for a short visit to Neath
Pros:

I have stayed at the property on a number of occasions mainly because of the excellent service and warm hospitality received by staff. On this occasion they have gone above and beyond their duties to ensure our stay was comfortable.
