Sundancer Residences and Villas Lombok

We had a most wonderfull stay at Sundancer, right next to the beach with a view of the secret Gili islands. Every single thing was absolutely beautiful, the rooms, the pool, the facilities, ... But the greatest thing about our stay were the incredible staff, from the start at reception with Ahsan to the restaurant with Niluh, Sanep, Dana (who made the greatest coffee and cocktails), Haris, Elva, Rini and Mira (and many more) who gave the best customer service. And a very special thanks to Wayan, who went out of his way to make our stay unforgettable with his enthusiasm and know-how. Would give a thousand stars if we could, and we will be coming back at some point in the future. Thank you all so much!

We had a wonderful stay at Sundancer Residences and Villas Lombok. The staff were definitely one of the highlights of our stay — incredibly kind, attentive, available and always happy to help. A special thank you to Ahsan, Sanep, Ketut and Mira for their excellent service (and apologies to the other staff members whose names we unfortunately forgot!).

The location is beautiful, with a stunning garden full of palm trees, and the view from our villa with private pool was absolutely breathtaking. The pool was great, the outdoor area very comfortable, and the bed was also very comfortable. The restaurant prices were reasonable, and we also really enjoyed the snorkeling trip organized by the hotel — a fantastic experience that we highly recommend.

Conocimos al dueño, Dwaine, un hombre de mundo, amable, cercano y que nos compartió su tiempo.
Agradecer a Nazwa y Hadijah su atención, cercanía, simpatía y ayuda. Qué maravilla!
Amplia variedad de comida, y Sanep se encarga de que no falte nada.
En definitiva, un gran sitio. Volveremos.

Staying at Sundancer in a villa with a private pool was an absolutely unforgettable experience. The villa was stunning, and waking up to such a breathtaking view made my stay truly magical. I feel very grateful that I had the opportunity to experience such a beautiful and peaceful place.

The entire staff were incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. I would especially like to thank Nazwa from reception, with whom I had the pleasure of communicating even before my arrival. She always responded to all my questions quickly and professionally and helped put my mind at ease. Nazwa is a genuinely warm and lovely person who made me feel welcome from the very beginning.

The restaurant served delicious food, and the service was consistently excellent. A special thank you to Haris, the restaurant leader, who came over to me every day to ask if everything was okay and whether I needed anything. He was always smiling, friendly and ready to help.

The hotel also has its own beautiful beach club, where the staff were equally welcoming. Agus deserves a special mention for being so attentive and helpful, always making sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed.

Sundancer also offers a boat trip to the Secret Gili Islands with snorkelling, which was one of the most beautiful experiences of my stay. A very special thank you to Captain Sanjaya, who explained everything clearly, helped me during the snorkelling and made me feel comfortable and safe throughout the trip. He also took many beautiful photos for me, giving me wonderful memories to take home.

Transportation around the resort was perfectly organised. Whenever I wanted to go from my villa to the restaurant or lobby, a buggy driver would come and collect me. Ketut, who drove me during my first two days, was exceptionally kind and explained everything to me. When I became unwell, he even offered to take me to a clinic. Thankfully, it was not necessary, but his genuine concern meant so much to me.

You feel like a million dollars at the Sundancer !
As someone who stayed an entire month at Sundancer, in both the basic room and the VIP villa, I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve travelled a lot.
It’s one of the most scenic and chilled places you could spend time. Plenty of space, beautiful surroundings, and just an amazing place to switch off.
The staff are all so lovely and genuinely make you feel like royalty.
The food is outstanding too. Solid breakfast, and they’ll even bring it to your room if you’re feeling lazy.
It’s also near the Gili Islands, which makes for a great day out. Definitely do this!
If you’re staying for a week, 100% spend at least a couple of nights in the villa. It’s worth it. You really do feel like a million dollars staying there.
Great value for what we paid too. I genuinely can’t think of any negatives.

Pool was amazing our villa was lovely and spacious

So much to love about this hotel. Fantastic rooms, super spacious and incredible reception staff even offering to give rides to nearby shops, going above and beyond. Beautiful spa, massages were great with really lovely staff again. Amazing pool area too!

I loved every minute of my time at Sundancer. The staff are exceptional, so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent, the pool was wonderful. The AC was top notch. My room was peaceful and quiet. I watched the sun rise every morning from my second floor balcony. The price of meals in the evening was reasonable, especially the Indonesian meals. Spa area was beautiful. The gift shop was filled with wonderful items, all at a reasonable price. I am returning in June, I can’t wait.

The staff and the owner were a joy to be around, the resort offered so much more than expected. The beach club barbecue with live entertainment was one of the best nights we had in Lombok

Wir hatten zwei der Poolvillen gebucht. Die Aussicht dort war atemberaubend schön, die Pools der Villen waren toll, sowie der große Gemeinschaftspool, der an der tiefsten Stelle 2,8 m tief war.Dort konnte man einen gratis Tauchworkshop besuchen, der von einem erfahrenen Tauchtrainer begleitet wurde. Das Personal war zuvorkommend. Hervorzuheben ist hier Good (ich weiß nicht, ob es richtig geschrieben ist) und Saeful.
Ein Sunsetwalk up the hills bis zum Beach haben wir auch gemacht, der persönlich begleitet wurde.
