Gezellig hotel midden in de stad. Goede bedden. Lekker ontbijt. Vanaf het station is het 15 min lopen naar het hotel. In de stad is alles op loop afstand.

We were very disappointed with our nearly two-week stay at Long John Pub and Hotel, especially considering the price paid.

The accommodation fell below expectations, with no kitchen cloths, a broken toilet brush, bedside lights repeatedly falling off the wall, a two-day wait for clean towels, and inadequate apartment servicing despite specifically requesting it. We were also expected to take our own rubbish to a disposal area some distance away. Staff often made us feel as though our requests were an inconvenience rather than part of their responsibility.

We also tried to communicate our concerns directly with the owners, but they did not even bother to respond.

We understand that no accommodation is perfect, but basic cleanliness, maintenance, and respectful guest service are reasonable expectations. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from start to finish, and we would have expected far better for the price paid.

Prachtige plek in een vriendelijke en mooie oude stad !

Het ontbijt was goed. We misten alleen wat gewone sneetjes brood.

Cons:

We hadden het wel beter gevonden als we op de hoogte waren geweest van het feit, dat het appartement iets verderop in de straat is.
En ook wat betere info in het appartement zelf over bijvoorbeeld het gebruik van de tv.

Wat een fijne plek
Pros:

Echt positief verrast. Bewust een budget kamer gekozen omdat ik er alleen 1 nachtje zou verblijven en niet veel zou zijn. Maar wat een toffe plek, prachtige pub met mooi terras, de budget kamer is perfect voor 1 persoon, schoon, heerlijk en vers ontbijt. Echt een aanrader zeker gezien de prijs kwaliteit verhouding. En niet te vergeten erv vriendelijk personeel. Ik kom er zeker terug om nog meer tijd door te brengen in de accomodatie! Top!
