The staff is fantastic and second to none! The breakfast crew led by the Chef Montse is awesome! She really goes out of her way to make sure the customer is happy. The hostess Blanca and the rest of the staff are also great. Alexa in the lounge and Josue in the front desk are also amazing! I truly recommend this hotel and their fantastic staff!

Ubicación, limpieza, cuartos, etc.

I came to Guadalajra on a business trip, as a vegan who doesn't speak Spanish I was concerned I'd struggle to eat.
The hotel itself is well equipped, in a great location and well presented, all the staff are nice but the staff running breakfast were fantastic.
Blanca or Erick met me every morning and remembered who I was and that I needed food specifically made. They helped coordinate and made me feel welcome and well looked after.
Esmerelda and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make me something special every single day, even going out to get ingredients they didn't normally have.
The food was amazing and I got to experience some Mexican food I'd never had before.
Will definitely be keen to return next time business brings me here

Our stay at the Hilton Guadalajara Midtown was disappointing. Though the hotel looks new, it’s already showing wear—our first room had splitting floors with dust. When we requested a room change, the bellboy, Javier, became visibly unhappy delivering the new keycards and didn’t help with luggage or the crib. The one-bedroom suite was large but awkwardly laid out, and the bathroom wasn’t practical. Towels were stained and worn. Lounge access (with our suite) was disappointing—very limited hours, poorly replenished food, and one night the tacos were so dry they were inedible until we asked for fresh ones. The cocktails were nice, and the attendant was friendly, but otherwise, it was bare. As a Gold member, there was no recognition or perks—reception was indifferent. The main buffet was better (we paid to upgrade), and the pool was refreshing. The gym was large, but the air conditioning wasn’t working well and it was extremely hot. Overall, the hotel did not meet Hilton standards and needs improvements in maintenance, service, and hospitality.

En cuanto a servicios no contamos con agua suficiente, para preparar café o tomar agua natural. La plancha no servía, en la habitación no teníamos secador de pelo, la habitación y servicio fue estándar.

Great location and clean, comfortable rooms. We stayed on the executive floor and the perks were worth it. The eggs at the continental breakfast were not fully cooked, but honestly the staff made up for it. Juan and Alexa were so accommodating and made our eggs to order. The drinks were great and the people super friendly.

I stay at many Hiltons around the world for business and this location is one of the best. I had a week stay and Edson at the front desk went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable. Looking forward to my next stay.

It was a great experience with family. Everyone was so nice and attentive. As well the food was amazing and had many different varieties of food.

This is a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful lobby and very elegant and spacious rooms. However, there were some big misses that reduced the quality of my stay. The major reason why I’m downgrading this hotel from 5 to 4 stars is the pool area. Given that my room had no openable windows, the only public space where I could enjoy the outdoors during my stay was the pool area. However, the music was so extremely loud that I could not enjoy myself there. The pool area had POUNDING music with a maximum bass level on the sound system. Imagine having a drummer sitting right in front of you beating a drum while you are trying to relax and read a book. This constant POUNDING was totally annoying and really compromised my relaxation time at the hotel. As a result, I was stuck in my room for the whole stay, which kind of killed the vacation for me. The hotel should really create a Zen area around the pool where people can just relax. Why do we have to be bombarded with discotheque-level noise?

The other big miss was that the bathroom was far too dark, most especially around the mirror area. I found it very difficult to do any type of personal grooming in the bathroom as it was too dark. This darkness applied throughout the hotel. The elevators were like crypts. And the pool area after sunset was nearly pitch black. So, this seems to be a design feature of this hotel to make spaces very dark for guests.

My room rate did not include breakfast, which ran $24. I took advantage of an excellent grocery store called Fresko just minutes away from the hotel to buy food for the room, including my breakfast food. The hotel is part of a beautiful fashion mall that provides a lot of opportunities for eating. However, outside of this bubble, the surrounding area is completely desolate, with barely even a single restaurant. The city centre is a 20-25 minute Uber ride from the hotel ($8-15 depending on time of day). I really don’t know if there are better parts of the city to stay in, but I felt pretty disconnected from the city itself, and was totally reliant on the fashion mall at the hotel. On the plus side, the staff was super-friendly. A shout-out to Josue for a very welcoming check-in.

Incredible experience! The team provided an outstanding service for my family and me. The breakfast buffet was of this world. Kudos to Erick and special mention to Esmeralda. She pampered my Cocker Spaniel dog with a special Xmas supper. She was so happy that she was taken care of by Esmeralda. So supportive and attentive. We can’t wait to stay back at the Hilton Midtown. Lovely hotel, decor and staff. Congrats.
