Good hotel if short on facilities and parking
Pros:

The location was good for Brecon. The staff were great. The room was a good size if strangley configured.

Cons:

Parking is real problem so if using as a base to explore the area, you will rarely get a space in the car park.
For the money, a spa, pool or at least something other than the bar and restaurant might be expected.

Pros:

Great food. Nice location in Brecon with view.

Cons:

Limited parking. Only one fan in room during heatwave (no air-con). Windows were faulty and would not stay open. Door swollen and very difficult to close. Sloping floor in bathroom may be unsuitable for some.

Pros:

Very nicely decorated, lovely big bed.

Cons:

Our room was very hot. The hotel had provided two desk fans but they weren't really sufficient.
There was no mirror in bedroom with a plug point for a hair dryer.

Walking weekend with friends
Pros:

Second time at this hotel and will definitely be coming back again - great location, friendly staff, great outdoor seating area, lovely food and comfortable clean rooms

Cons:

The corridors and rooms are all very warm - the room ceiling fan helped, but as it was in the middle of a heatwave it didn't fully cool it down

Lovely comfortable hotel, need more staff.
Pros:

Location , lovely comfortable interiors

Cons:

Check in delayed, because hotel had been busy previously. Too warm in room and corridor(weather not staff.)not enough staff at the bar, various drinks unavailable. Reception unmanned in the evening and over run bar staff expected to do both jobs. Lack of sun umbrellas on patio areas, obviously broken and just put over fence. Lovely hotel but felt staff unsupported and stressed especially during evening shift

Comfortable, peaceful and was not ready to leave.
Pros:

Breakfast waitress Sue was 5* as was the breakfast. Room 115 was perfect with what must be one of the best views in Brecon of the town and the Beacons. Lovely bed.

Cons:

On arrival there was only one bath and hand towel and one tea bag in a double booked room.
The bathroom was a bit tight for a large person. Parking was difficult at certain times of the day.
