I have a nipple juice ( dairy) intolerance
Pros:

I personally can't fault room 207.Nicely furnished and kept in line with the Building Character/ History.

Cons:

A day prior my arrival I asked for dairy replacement option Via booking .com message service due to vocal issues. Despite 2 contacts no note was taken and sadly I started my morning with no brew despite amazing brew facilities in the room I booked otherwise. On leaving I highlighted this issue ..apologies we're received and it appeared to be a staffing issues and training matter that booking .com messages were not checked by staff. Its not the end of the world..but it would have been nice to have a brew offered before I got on the road. Maybe next time its hence a slight reduction in scoring.

If you are in the area (Brecon) then it is a lovely place to stay. The town is very run down but I think there are good
Pros:

Location is lovely. Rooms are very comfortable. Food on the whole was very good. Dog friendly. Sunday lunch was excellent and served into the evening, late checkout was great.

Cons:

Tables were not cleared and so we sat looking at dirty plates and glasses during our meals. I cleared our own table in the end.

I wish me and my partner had more than just one night at the stunning hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was stunning and the room we had was perfect having everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was lovely decorated with a walk in shower.

Cons:

There’s nothing I could say that was wrong with the hotel in my experience.

Sumptuous decor and very welcoming.
Pros:

Beautifully refurbed rooms. The dining room is devine and the food delicious. Lovely helpful staff. Manager always about and happy for feedback. Dog was very welcomed. Altho can’t eat in the dining room with dog they’re accommodated everywhere else. We had a family room which was nice ideal for three of us plus the dog. Highly recommend it. Just so lovely.

Cons:

Nothing. Just a shame the two days we stayed were the only cooler days of the summer holiday so couldn’t sit out as much.

Lovely hotel with good food
Pros:

Beautifully decorated, the dining room is fabulous! Good food, friendly staff. Lovely superking bed.

Cons:

We stayed during the heatwave and they did supply the room with a fan but we couldn’t open the bathroom window and found it difficult to get dressed as the room was stiflingly hot. I understand it’s an old building, but at this price the rooms should have air conditioning.
