Although it is rated as a 2 stars property, it feels better than that ! What makes this place so special is the atmosphere created by the lovely family of mother and daughters running the show with care and attention to detail and quality. Situated on the right (the quiet) bank of the clear water Brenta river, there are 2 room buildings from the 70’s with very big and comfortable rooms that are decorated in a minimalistic style, and have a very good ensuite bathroom. I stayed in the building overlooking the restaurant, with the very nice view to the river and mountains from the balcony. It has a car park right at the door. After reading the reviews I had planned to have dinner at the property’s restaurant, and dinner was really excellent !. Breakfast was delicious with fresh and good quality products in a beautiful bright room (it could also be had on the terrace outside). The river walk along the clear stream of the brenta under big trees held me for some more time… coffee at the charming hotel’s river kiosk under the trees as well, and it was hard to leave this beautiful place… The reviews had attracted me here, and everything exceeded my expectations, the owners were so nice, I was sorry I had to leave… This quiet and lovely place is just a 10mn drive from Bassano del Grappa where hotels are so much more expensive, and for the price and the quality offered , it is a bargain that will leave lasting memories ! No hesitation: stay here and have dinner !

Gentilezza e accoglienza da parte dello staff. Ristorante fantastico, piatti buonissimi e i dessert sono una vera esperienza!
La famiglia che gestisce sia il ristorante che l’albergo è stata veramente tanto gentile ed ospitale. La camera ampia, il letto comodo e la pulizia impeccabile. Colazione fantastica, varia, ottimi prodotti e le torte fatte in casa buonissime.
Parcheggio grande riservato agli ospiti.

Contra Contarini's location was perfect. We had a beautiful view from our balcony and our room was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. The aperitivo at the kiosk next to the river was an extra bonus.
