Great location with nice rooms
The receptionist was not very helpful
Really enjoyed our stay. We had two rooms and both were upgraded with my Marriott platinum status. Breakfast was included which is done times hit or miss with Autograph Hotels. Location was very convenient. Totally recommend and would stay here again. Price was good for London
great and comfortable room, amazing breakfast!
I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is lovely. So comfortable and convenient. My absolute favorite part of this hotel though is the hotel bar. Peter and Anh were so great - took great care of everyone, always made wonderful recommendations and made sure I was comfortable. The best food, service and easy but fun vibe. Thank you - I will definitely be back. 💕
Below expectations for an Autograph Collection Hotel. First of all, we are platinum Marriott members and have stayed at Marriott branded hotel throughout europe and Asia. We expected more from an Autograph Collection hotel with great reviews. First the good. The location was good, just a short walk to Tower of London and London bridge. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. Now the bad. Our safe kept breaking. The part that had the battery had lost it's cover so they just taped the batteries to the door to keep the batteries in so of course when the tape got loose, the safe quit working. We had to call multiple times to get them to "fix" it which basically meant they put new tape on it. Of course the next day, the tape loosened again and we had to call them again to fix it. After a couple days of this, they told us they would get us a new safe or find a battery door. Never happened. We just finally stored our valuables in our daughters room's safe. Secondly, the sink was clogged and drained very slowly. We told them multiple times but it was never fixed and we were here for 8 days. Room service was slow and the food was not very good. When we checked out, they told my wife they would comp us our room service and our cleaning bill for the inconvenience, but when I reviewed the folio they emailed me, we were still charged for both. i sent them and email asking about it and still waiting to hear from them. We expected more service from the Marriott brand, especially from one of their higher end brands, especially for a platinum member. We were celebrating our daughters graduation from college and also requested a room upgrade, which we also did not get. Of course we know this is dependent on availability. Overall an OK but not great stay
This was my second time staying at The Dixon Tower Bridge. My stay was as pleasant as the first.
All the staff were friendly and good humourer.
They appeared to be truly happy working in this fine hotel and that itself says a lot.
Special thanks to Anu at the front desk and to all the fine staff in their breakfast zone.
I'll be back again next year!
Lovely hotel, great service. Very nice bar where Anh made such goid cocktails for us. Waiter Cris was also very friendly.
What a brilliant experience, great location, brilliant building and surroundings, lovely and very cool bar in the old courthouse and a super room with the comfiest bed ever.
What a nights sleep, nothing was too much trouble, food and drinks choices are top notch, the environment is stunning and a little quirky (this is an old police station and courthouse) and the staff team, in particular Tamara were excellent. Always on hand to help, they were committed and obviously very proud of the place they work.
Tamara checked us in, the room was not quite ready so we went for some lunch and she found us with the keycard, super helpful and an amazing upgrade later, that she negotiated, we could not be happier spending my wife’s birthday weekend with them. We will definitely return, now our favourite hotel south (only just) of the river.
Room and location
Had afternoon tea as a gift. Booking was easy and got a wonderful welcome from Anh who looked after us from start to finish, she was superb, very friendly and professional. Food and variety of teas was also lovely!
Room and reception well decorated and with some character.
