Amazing property in a great location.
Pros:

The young couple who recently became the owners are wonderful. They are working very hard to make this a very special place and it shows. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is charming, the food is wonderful and they have excellent staff (including our favorite Sem). The location is perfect for day trips to Giethoorn and the National Park. We highly recommend this amazing property.

A 100% historic hotel full of character and history.
Pros:

This was our second stay, and it has become one of our favorite hotels. The air conditioning is excellent. There is always plenty to do nearby, from walking and cycling to visiting museums and exploring the beautiful town of Vollenhove. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wundervoller Ort auf dem Land.

Es war eine Unterkunft, die mich wirklich positiv überrascht hat.
Sehr netter Empfang, ein gepflegter Haus, liebevoll bis ins Detail.
Kein austauschbares Kettenhotel, sondern ein historischer Ort. Ich habe schon in vielen Schlössern und Herrenhäusern übernachtet. Dieses ist wirklich eine Perle.
Meine Mutter hatte während des Aufenthalts Geburtstag. Sie wurde mit Blumen auf dem Frühstückstisch und Prosecco überrascht. Es sind diese kleine Gesten...

Nichts Wesentliches, eher Anmerkungen:
Im Zimmer war es (insbesondere die Leselampen) eher dunkel. Da hätte ich mir zum Lesen mehr Licht gewünscht.

Das Frühstück ist von sehr guter Qualität, insbesondere das Brot und die köstlichen Croissants (kein Convenience), allerdings würde ich mir etwas mehr Vielfalt wünschen (Gurken, Tomaten, vielleicht kleine Salate, Dips).

Pros:

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Genoeg parkeerplekken We zaten in het koetshuis in de Jolen kamer, deze was ruim met een groot bed. Het ontbijt was prima met genoeg opties. Diner was ook goed. Hele bijzondere prachtige locatie bij een mooi park.

Cons:

Het bubbelbad deed het niet, de luxe toilet ook niet. De kamer was niet verduisterend. Weinig zenders op tv. De afstandsbediening had wel een Netflix knop, maar die deed het niet. De badkamer was wat klein met weinig ruimte om persoonlijke spulletjes neer te zetten.
