Overcharged us 300euro. Owner got aggressive when questioned.

Cute hotel and local area. Clean.

Cons:

1.Unfortunately at checkout, the owner tried to overcharge me by 300euro. When I explained to him that the bill didn't look right to me and that I wanted to wait for my husband to come to look, he was aggressive and said 'you can't leave without paying' (as though we would).
I showed him our receipts and eventually he realised he was wrong. It took them over 30 mins to amend the bill and he didn't show his face again, but let his wife handle the mess. Incredibly unprofessional.
2. We had dinner one night and it was lovely. However the next night we went down at 7.30pm (dinner is advertised until 9pm), the dinner hall was closed. The lady told us ' oh it was quiet so we decided to finish up early'. Like, what? They didn't even notify us. Just decided they were done cooking today.

I've never left a bad review for a hotel, but I'd pass on this hotel if I were you. Current management and ownership is incompetent.

Uitstekend verblijf in een sfeervol hotel
Pros:

De ligging en het vriendelijke personeel, plus de uitstekende bedden.
Ook de prima koffie en thee faciliteiten op de kamer

Mooi hotel en een goede keuken in een fraai park, Aardig personeel.
Pros:

Royaal ontbijt in een fraaie ontbijtzaal.

Cons:

Wij boekten voor drie nachten. Dan zou het wel prettig zijn als er een behoorlijke klerenkast is. Dat was helaas niet aanwezig. De badkamer was OK maar de grote kamer kan wel een opfris behandeling krijgen.
