The staff were very welcoming, taking cases to the room. Offering a carton of water on arrival (it was a hot day). Phoning for a taxi. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very very comfortable, excellent location (Thames south bank) and a superb breakfast.

Just returned from a night at this hotel celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Lovely hotel, clean, comfortable and very friendly staff.
Our room was perfect. And the whole hotel is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is very good too.
Returned to our room last night to find a lovely card a little cake and a bottle of chilled prosecco for our Anniversary, what a perfect touch, thank you so much .
Would highly recommend this hotel,and it will definitely be our new favourite hotel when we visit London.

This was our second stay at The Bankside and we enjoyed it as much as last year. The hotel is maintained extremely well and housekeeping was terrific. All front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.. .a special call-out to Ola and Manuel. The hotel is in a wonderful location for any activities on the South Bank and is conveniently located for nearby Tube and train stations. We look forward to returning next year.

Bankside Hotel is a gem, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was Kasha. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to make us feel completely at home — not just checked in, but genuinely welcomed. She anticipated our needs, made us feel seen, and brought a warmth to the experience that you simply can’t train for. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated to hospitality.
The hotel itself is beautiful — stylish, comfortable, and wonderfully located. But it’s the people who make a place, and Kasha is exactly the kind of person who elevates a hotel stay into a lasting memory. We’ll be back, and a big part of that is because of her. Thank you, Kasha — you made this feel like a home away from home. Anastasia in the restaurant was amazing and went above and beyond at the restaurant.

Great hotel for location, quality and service. Perfect for both business and family trips due to everything it has to offer. cozy and artsy interior. Delicious breakfast with a variety of hot and cold options. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Incredibly welcoming staff, too many to mention all. Special mention for front desk Kasha (absolutely incredibly welcoming and helpful - she always had great tips and advice, going beyond expectations) and all the cleaning staff, especially their supervisor Cristina (on 3rd floor) who went out of the way to make sure we had anything we needed. All the front desk people and restaurant staff were very nice and courteous (hard to remember all names, I remember German who helped with smooth departure)…

Our stay at Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection was simply outstanding. Without a doubt, it has been the best hotel we have stayed at in London. The location is perfect for exploring the city, the rooms are spacious, beautifully designed and impeccably clean. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is unique, with contemporary art, relaxing music and a warm, welcoming feeling from the moment you arrive.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality products. We also really appreciated the complimentary filtered water refill stations, a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch that made our stay even more comfortable.
What truly makes this hotel exceptional is its staff. A very special thank you to Sebastian and Mohamed for the warm and professional welcome at check-in, and to Manuel and Richard for the friendly and efficient check-out. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Bankside Hotel to anyone visiting London. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Fabulous , unique hotel . Five star luxury without a corporate feel .

I love this hotel so much, I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it and keep it all to myself. I stayed here for about a week with my family and it was a consistently great experience with top-notch attention to details. This was truly the best hotel because of the people. The STAFF was so exceptional. As soon as our taxi arrived at the front of the hotel, a man came to get our bags and give us a glass of wine while we checked in. The FRONT DESK persons were so thoughtful, kind and truly attentive. It took 2 seconds for them to call a taxi, they were very organized and on top of everything.

The FOOD at the restaurant was divine. We ate at the hotel restaurant about 4 or 5 times. Best gnocchi, Caesar salad, chicken breast, and sea bass ever. The house organic white wine made me appreciate wine.

The DECOR is truly beautiful. The art theme plays out in a way that is both playful and elegant. As a lover of fine art, it was a joy to stay here.

The ROOMS were so lovely and spacious. The decor is modern and authentic and consistent. The art makes you feel joyful. The coffee and tea, the snacks and the letter-writing box were special details I loved.

Lastly, a personal story- I misplaced my very expensive Louis Vuitton scarf in one of the rooms I had stayed in. It had been lost for nearly 3 days before I realized it was gone. I called the front desk and they had been keeping it safe and returned it to me immediately. Bravo to HOUSEKEEPING.

This hotel genuinely made me love London! I cannot wait to come back!

We LOVED this hotel in London - our kids said staying here was one of the highlights of the entire trip. Great breakfast buffet, friendly staff, comfortable beds and great location with close proximity to the promenade along the Thames in South Bank and other sights. We would definitely stay here again.

If you are a Marriott person, this is your place! Location is excellent and everything about this place is top shelf! Lobby was interesting and very innovative. Not a typical arrival or checkin. Event space was outstanding! I will be back. Staff was nice too!
