Pleasant stay but lumpy mattress needs replacing!
Pros:

Excellent location and staff were lovely. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Shower was hot and strong.

Cons:

The mattress was the lumpiest mattress I have ever slept on. It needs to be replaced.

Quaint Austenesque stay
Pros:

It was very central, quirky, in a Georgian building. But if you stay in the other house, there is no lift and so you will need to ask for help to take your cases up, in my case, to the third floor. My room was tiny, and expensive for literally an attic, but the shower was spacious, super powerful and hot. The single bed was okay but thankfully the room had a desk, imperative for a writing retreat. The staff super friendly, breakfast very good, served with a smile.

Cons:

Cobbled pedestrian road so not possible to have door to door taxi, okay in my case but not my 76yr old friend. Single bed.

If Staying in Bath, this is the place to stay.
Pros:

Magnificent room in arguably the best location in Bath. So close to Roman Baths, the Abbey, Sally Lun's and so much more. Very clean, very spacious in a magnificent historic building immaculately maintained.

Cons:

My only complaint was I could hear all the movement in the apartment upstairs so I assume the people below would have been the same. Very thin insulation between floors.

Cons:

The pay back for the central location is no parking and the local car park was quite expensive £35 for around 24 hrs . This is only beyond the control of the property but a consideration if you were thinking of coming by public transport

Quiet luxury and friendly staff in the heart of historic Bath
Pros:

You couldn't ask for a better location in historic Bath. Comfortable, spacious deluxe room overlooks historic Abbey Green with ancient tree.

Beautiful property, perfect location, nice staff.

This property is beautiful! Loved the decor, the cleanliness, the location. Everything was lovely

Cons:

The walls are a little thin but that’s to be expected in an older Victorian build. Would not put me off staying here though as everything else makes up for it.

The property was decorated beautifully and very clean. The location was excellent.

Cons:

We were in room 19 on the top floor- no lift.
During the night the room became very hot- the sash windows could barely open and the mobile air conditioning unit was very loud. This exacerbated the feeling of a very small and compact room.
