Good value for money but not friendly or helpful staff who are struggling being shorthanded.

A good find
Pros:

The situation, making several towns, attractions and the countryside easily available.
The room was perfect for a single person. Small but very well equipped and clean. The fan was much appreciated.
The food was very good, particularly the breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

I was worried that there was a wedding taking place and it was noisy from outside, but not in the room.

Location nice, and breakfast was very good the staff serving breakfast very good

Cons:

If you ever book this hotel, request not to be placed in room number 10, it is the first room on the corridor and therefore every time the entry/exit door is used the door slams closed. Also the ventilation/extractor mechanism for the kitchen is right outside this room, granted it goes off around 21.30hrs, but it also comes back on at 05.30hrs, and it IS loud.

Fabulous party on Saturday evening and just so lovely to go straight into my room for a good nights sleep.

Can't wait until I can book again.
Pros:

It was in a lovely part of Derbyshire great walk part of the pennine way good for cycling
I didn't have breakfast so I can't say what it was like but I did have evening meal very good the staff were excellent friendly happy in their work
Please to help in fact I had two lovely days of relaxing day and would go again .

Cons:

There is nothing more they can do everything is spot on .

Such a beautiful entrance outside /greeted very warmly and given information/ loved the room. Spacious, clean, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, complimentary drinks and toiletries/delicious fresh breakfast and great service

Very nice overnight stay, great lamb dinner; good menu choice.
Pros:

dinner, good menu; nice breakfast; lounge, bed, late room checkout 11am was very good.

Cons:

Room no.1 not much view out of window. Wash basin very small. Last orders for food early at 8pm. Bar shut early at 10pm.
With a late checkout time of 11am, breakfast could have been later say 10am instead of 9.30am.
