Great base for night on the town
Pros:

Great location, warm welcome, comfortable and nicely furnished room

Bedroom lighting let it down but otherwise nice.
Pros:

Great location and reception area.

Cons:

Lighting was dreadful in the bedrooms. Hard to see to get dressed and hair done .
Also lighting in the restaurant was startling and cafe like, so didn't lend itself to relaxed evening dining.

Lovely hotel, Will be back
Pros:

Beds are huge and comfy, staff are always wonderful and it's in a very good location

Cons:

It is on the slightly more expensive side but its worth it.
The car park situation is the only downside as its tiny and you cannot reserve a space.

Muy buena ubicación, muy buena atención del personal, tanto en ña recepción como en el desayuno y en el bar.

Cons:

Tenía dos habitaciones contratadas, una para 4 personas y otra para 2. Las dos habitaciones tenían el mismo tamaño y las mismas camas. Era una habitación cómoda para 2, a lo sumo 3 personas. Adicionalmente, en el piso hacía muchísimo calor, sin estar prendida la calefacción. Aparentemente era un problema general, nos dieron 2 ventiladores, pero aún así el calor fue muy intenso.

Pros:

Good size well equipped rooms

Cons:

Some bar staff were slow to acknowledge you were there and slow service. More interested in cleaning glasses than serving waiting guests. Zac was the only guy who was good.

Lovely hotel not great location
Pros:

Very comfortable hotel, room was perfect for us as a family. Breakfast buffet was very nice and we ate in the Chop restaurant also one night which had a relaxed atmosphere and tasty food.

Cons:

The hotel is situated in a not very nice neighbourhood unfortunately but it depends which direction you walk towards. Near Belmont street is a little nicer but some of the side streets beside the hotel are quite dirty and we didn't feel 100% safe walking around in the evening

We enjoyed our stay at Sandman.
