Centrally located, clean and nice staff!
No parking at the property
Rooms are very comfortable with facilities and everything working. Location is central. Excellent food. Staff is super friendly and always there to help with the owner himself making you feel so welcome as if back home. Jampa is one of the best places I have stayed in Nepal. Love it and will keep coming here whenever I land in Kathmandu.
Rooms on streetside can feel bit noisy. But that's due to the busy area which is also a plus point for its central location. It does not take away any of the good aspects of the place with warm people.
The staff at the reception were outstanding. I arrived early in the morning after a night flight and not only did they check me in early at no cost but they also upgraded my room. I managed to get some well needed rest and highly appreciated the courtesy!!! The location is great. The rooms are clean. The staff readily responds to any query and there is free storage. Loved it. Would book again!!

The next day I had an early morning flight, they gave me a packed breakfast which was really nice but the packed breakfast is below average and they didn’t even check of my preference veg/non veg/vegan/allergic and gave whatever they thought was right. Not a big thing but this can be improved with checking with the guest prior.

This hotel is just incredible! I went back three times whilst travelling in Nepal and commuting through Kathmandu. The rooms are superb - immaculately clean and so comfortable. Toiletries and towels included in all their rooms. The staff is the most welcoming, helpful and nicest I've ever seen and the breakfast is yummy and varied (it changes daily but while I stayed there they had waffles, pancakes, veggie fritters, baked beans, potatoes, cereal, fruit, bacon, eggs your way, and barista coffe).
The location is very central but in a quiet street, which in Kathmandu is rare. The airport pick-up was very helpful and on time - you can book this either via WhatsApp or on the booking app chat. You can also store you luggage if you're off trekking in the mountains.
Genuinely, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in!
The only small improvement I could recommend is that they offer plant-based milk for breakfast and coffee - such as soy, oat, coconut, etc. If they advertise it in the menu, even non-vegans might want to go for it as it is quite popular at the moment. They can buy small individual packs to make sure it doesn't go bad, in case demand is a concern.
Clean and comfortable rooms overseen by excellent staff in a central location (Thamel) - very good value for money; will stay here again
