One of the best hotel stays ever
Pros:

First time in Tokyo and finding the right hotel amongst so much choice was daunting so I stuck to the Accor affiliated. I was not disappointed. The rooms are a good size. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so quiet. The executive lounge was a highlight particularly when they arranged without asking vegetarian tapas each evening for my daughter. They assisted with an airport transfer from Narita and to forward our bags to Osaka. This was a fantastic hotel.

Amazing!!!
Pros:

What an amazing hotel. This is up there with one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Everything was just perfect. It was hard to leave.

Breakfast was amazing. Service and food options 5 star.

Very convenient location. Close to the train. Short trip to all the major tourist spots.

If I could give a higher score, I would. Will definitely stay here when I return to Tokyo.

Thank you Pullman Tokyo for an amazing experience

Excellent stay
Pros:

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is easily accessible from Tamachi station. It is under covered walkway, somewhat though, and you do not need to worry to travel with your luggage as there is a lift connecting the platform to the hotel entrance level. There is a shopping center adjacent to the hotel with a lot of F&B options as well as convenience stores. So you will have plenty of choices.

The hotel itself is modern, efficient, and exceptionally well-maintained. We stayed here for two nights. We arrived in the morning and we were assisted by a friendly staff. We booked for a Superior Room with 1 King sized bed, and as an Accor Platinum member, we were offered complimentary breakfast and lounge access. Kind gesture from the management.

The room was immaculate, comfortable, and well-appointed, with a view toward the station. The King size bed was HUGE, it will fit more than 3 people! The bed was comfortable, the linen felt fresh and the pillows were great. The bathroom was efficient and practical.

Dining was solid — the breakfast buffet offered plenty of options, Japanese, Asian and Western. You have got to try the prawn tempura and chicken karage. They were that GOOD! Their coffee was pretty good too. I went to one of their afternoon tea session at the lounge. I thought the food offering was limited, good but not great.

Overall, we had an excellent stay. We’ll definitely be returning.

Excellent location for exploring Tokyo and more
Pros:

We stayed at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi for 5 nights in a deluxe room with 2 single beds. No real upgrade at arrival, only a room at the executive floor.
We selected this Accor hotel for its location. It is directly connected to Tamachi Station so with easy access to the JR Yamanote Line, making it simple to reach major attractions. It is also very convenient for travelling to and from Haneda Airport and for taking trains outside the city.
The surrounding area offers also many restaurants and a large supermarket with a good selection of takeaway meals and fresh fruits, which we found very practical after a busy day of sightseeing.
Our room was relatively compact, as is common in Tokyo. It was confortable enough for a good night sleep after a day of sightseeing, but not a place where you would want to relax during a rainy afternoon. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. We particularly appreciated that plant-based milk alternatives were available, which is not common in many Japanese hotels.
As Accor Platinum members, we briefly visited the Executive Lounge, but it did not really appeal to us, so we never had any drink there.
To be noted : the hotel offers direct elevator access to the ground level, making it easy to leave with luggage and catch the taxi booked by the hotel. We reached Haneda Airport in about 20 minutes.
Overall, this is an excellent choice if your priority is convenience, transport connections and easy access to Tokyo.

Comfortable Hotel
Pros:

Situated in a quieter part of Tokyo, the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi provides a calm place to come home to each night. It is extremely well connected with access to both the Tamachi station on the JR line and the Mita subway station. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the the staff are incredibly welcoming. The rooms are fitted with blackout blinds, and despite being located beside train tracks we were never disturbed by the noise - I won't hesitate to return on future visits to Tokyo.

A Budget-Level Deception Disguised as 5-Star: Avoid Pullman Tokyo Tamachi
Pros:

As an ALL Platinum member, I have stayed at numerous luxury properties worldwide, but my recent 5-night continuous stay at Pullman Tokyo Tamachi (split across two consecutive bookings) was the most deceptive and frustrating experience of my travels. This property operates far below 5-star hospitality, closer to a budget hotel.

First, the physical space itself fails to meet international luxury standards. The hotel lobby is incredibly minimalist, and the bar area is squeezed directly next to the reception and lobby. There is no sense of grandeur, space, or the upscale ambiance you expect from a premium brand—it feels crowded and poorly designed.

To make matters worse, the bathroom layout and quality are absolutely sub-standard for a premium establishment. It lacks the basic privacy, space, and premium fixtures that define a true 5-star hotel, further reinforcing the reality that this property is operating on a budget-hotel framework while charging luxury prices.

Second, the product quality is highly misrepresented. I booked a "1 King Bed" room, as explicitly stated in the ALL app. Instead, I was given a "Hollywood King"—which is nothing more than two cheap twin beds pushed together with a highly uncomfortable seam right down the middle. When escalated, Accor HQ (Guest Service Executive Department) blindly defended this, calling it an "operational setup." Coming from properties like Kempinski or Hotel Majapahit, this is a budget-level solution, not a 5-star bed.

Third, there is a severe lack of system transparency and potential inventory manipulation. The ALL app blocked a 5-night continuous block showing "No Availability," yet their staff was able to manually process my second booking via email for those exact dates. This strongly suggests the hotel deliberately hides inventory to avoid fulfilling Platinum upgrade obligations.

Accor’s corporate response to this systemic issue was insulting. They completely failed to audit the system discrepancy, completely missed the fact that my stay was 5 nights (only looking at a 2-night window), and tried to close the breach of trust with a trivial 5,000 points offer.

While properties like ANA Crowne Plaza Kyoto and InterContinental Osaka provide flawless suits with city views upgrades and true, seamless 1 King Beds, Pullman Tokyo offers excuses and technical friction. I was staying at the InterContinental Hong Kong, where loyalty is genuinely recognized with automatic upgrades and flawless service.

I have officially cancelled my remaining Accor itineraries and moved my business to IHG. Do not waste your money or loyalty points here; it is a budget experience hidden behind a 5-star price tag.

This experience was the final straw. I am currently in the process of completely deleting my Accor Live Limitless loyalty account. I refuse to waste my time with a system that protects deception. Moving forward, I am focusing my business entirely on the IHG Group as a Platinum Elite/ Ambassador member, where loyalty is treated with actual prestige and respect, rather than being treated like a nuisance. Goodbye Accor, your 'hospitality' is trash.

Almost perfect
Pros:

The service is consistently good, with professional front office staff like Ms. Aori, who assisted me with an efficient check-out and a seamless booking of a taxi service to the airport. There is an apparent lack of a concierge team presence, which is an anomaly by Japanese hospitality standards.

The superior suite is rather comfortable but it's design can be less 'minimalist' and more 'luxurious'. However, I did appreciate how it is tucked away in a corner, making it feel exclusive. The executive lounge had a good layout and nice seating but the service can be enhanced. For one, staff should be more vigilant about managing noise levels (guests using phones) and ensuring that entry is only granted to those in proper footwear. Staff should not indulge guests who attempt to enter in flip-flops/sandals and banter loudly, disrupting the serene ambience of the lounge. While interaction is coveted in hospitality, it should be done in appropriately and conditionally.

Kasa restaurant has a great vibe and is an ideal breakfast venue, overlooking the Tamachi foyer. However, staff should not allow guests to dine in bedroom slippers, diminishing the class of the hotel.

Given proper and stricter enforcement, the property does have the potential to justify its rates in the Minato district. Momentarily, it still pales in comparison to the hard offerings of its sister property, the Fairmont.

Great location excellent and consistent service delivery
Pros:

Our go-to hotel in Tokyo. Have stayed multiple times over the years and always happy with the consistent service delivery from the team despite staff changes. Special shout out to Rezza, a new member of the front office team who is relatively new to Tokyo and still manages to give enthusiastic attention our needs.

Modern and comfortable rooms, excellent location next to Tamachi station with easy access to both subway and JR trains.

Buildings nearby also has a lot of food options and a very good supermarket. Breakfast is also very good, with nice quality freshly brewed coffee and a good spread.

Excellent location, great service — our go-to Tokyo hotel
Pros:

We stayed 6 nights over two stays as Accor Gold members and couldn’t be happier. Pullman Tamachi is a 5‑minute walk (partially covered) from Tamachi or Mita stations in a business district — very convenient for trains and taxis. Life supermarket is located downstairs, and a Lawson, 7-Eleven and Starbucks are also located in the buildings next door.

Check‑in staff were friendly, professional, and clearly explained hotel facilities. Our first three nights were in a Superior Executive room including one stay plus night, the final three nights were in a Deluxe Executive room, partially paid with some of our Accor points. Both rooms faced Tamachi station, were well maintained, modern, and spacious for Tokyo at 29 m². There were plenty of power and USB outlets, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We managed to store and fit multiple suitcases in the rooms without issue, and the hotel happily stored two bags for a week while we did a 7‑day Kyushu road trip — they even had a bag we shipped from Fukuoka waiting in the room on return.

Breakfast (included with our second stay) is a buffet at KASA restaurant; staff take coffee and egg orders at the table. The spread offers a strong mix of Western and Japanese options. The Executive Lounge on the 9th floor is exceptional — friendly staff and manager, all‑day snacks and drinks, afternoon tea from 2pm, and full drinks and canapés 5–7:30pm. The selection changed nightly and the lounge, while compact, was never overcrowded when we visited.

Minor negatives: the Deluxe Executive bathroom layout is awkward. Shower over bath combo, The bath is large but the glass splash screen forces you to step into the deep tub to reach the taps, making entry/exit awkward and unsuitable for guests with mobility issues — a grab rail would help. Also, hand soap mounted on the mirror at shoulder height is awkward to reach.

Overall, despite relatively high rates, the combination of location, staff, facilities, rooms, and lounge makes Pullman Tamachi worth it. It’s now our go‑to Tokyo accommodation — highly recommended.

Great location and service was good.
Pros:

Decent hotel and good location on the JR line - room was nice. Night butler was superb and receptionist helped chase our bags which was kind. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on that but all in all a decent stay - no issues.

Excellent location and top-tier service!
Pros:

Lovely experience at the Pullman Tokyo Tamachi. While it is primarily a business hotel, the location on the Yamanote Line is convenient for tourists too with quick connections to Ginza and Shinjuku. The hotel is also conveniently located walking distance to the Tamachi station through an elevated walkway. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious (rare in Japan) and the staff is friendly and efficient and always willing to cater to all your needs. Special shoutout to Ms Youngah Kim at the Executive Lounge for arranging my birthday cake and friendly behaviour.
The hotel has good Accor Platinum recognition and I was offered an upgraded room and a bunch of welcome amenities. The hotel also has a few good restaurants, convenience stories and a large supermarket in the complex next door which is very convenient for a quick bite or some last minute shopping. This is one of the better pullmans I have stayed at and would prefer to pick this for my next trip to Japan as well.
