Location near tram stop, metro, canal and an amazing bakery/coffee shop was great.
Rooms are compact but with a huge gift bed, clean, modern and all the tech you could want to control lighting, heating, tv, blinds was great and all worked perfectly. Modern decor and art work. Plus, the most friendly and helpful staff ever!

Great location near the metro and a very nice bakery, also close to some good restaurants and a grocery store. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and good water pressure in the shower.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν ότι πρέπει για 2 άτομα. Δυνατό σημείο η καθαριότητα και η ευγένεια κι η εξυπηρέτηση του προσωπικου. Επίσης το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ μαλακό κι έκανες άνετο ύπνο.
Το ξενοδοχείο είναι δίπλα σε στάση μετρό & τραμ, κάτι που έκανε τη μετακίνηση στην πόλη πανεύκολη.
Σίγουρα θα το συνιστούσα.

Super Uber Cool Hotel. We get the funky vibe and had a very friendly welcome on Tuesday morning by two lovely women. One from Romania, the other reddish hair from Amsterdam. They explained the unusual set up of the hotel and pointed out the 24 hr bar and breakfast options. We happily paid for x 2 breakfasts and a late check out due to their warmth & service. A young South African lady was also very nice, we appreciated her assistance during our stay. The men doing the bar and breakfast both days were efficient but not that friendly. The breakfasts were very good. We found the room clean & very modern, tho tiny and not adequate for sorting suitcases or anyone with mobility issues, as beds are climb in only. This needs to be pointed out to the booking agents by the hotel, especially when advertising XXXL beds.
The shower was excellent but slippery, and very unusual to have the wash sink in the room.

Now to the main reason of our title and rating. After returning from a great day sightseeing, we walked in for a drink & snack at approximately 10pm.. to a VERY different and unfriendly atmosphere. The Asian looking bar lady, was VERY dismissive, almost annoyed both then and in the a.m, even after she knew we were guests...Maybe she thought we were street vagrants before hand..tho she cld have asked.. we are not unfriendly types and we are polite. The dessert took so long to arrive that we ate elsewhere the following evening 🙄

The 2nd evening I (cautiously) popped down for a coffee and a piece of the 'complimentary' fruit..only to be asked to pay for it?, by again another unfriendly, abrupt girl with glasses 🧐 I explained that we had been told the fruit was complimentary..she then went on to say,
"Oh, that was yesterday, policy has just changed today.. in keeping with other hotels, and it is now 1 Euro each,'but you can have that one free this time" 🤨 I was left feeling MOST unwelcome. I felt it was an extremely rude thing to say, especially when the room rate is $600 N.Z per night and we could have stayed at the Victoria for that! 😒
I was left feeling perplexed and will not return due to the indifferent attitude of these two women acting like they couldn't care less about our experience. Such a contrast to the other two lovely ladies we first encountered.
Apologies for the long story..but if you are trying to create a luxury upmarket hotel experience, then DON'T hire back packer staff who dislike people who act like they are superior... Its bad for business!!

Well kept property in a central location. Friendly and attentive staff.

It was really easy to find and move across the city from the hotel. The staff were really welcoming and easy to contact when needed. The food was delicious.

Overall experience was great. Staff was fantastic. Rooms are somewhat small but very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Well located

The bed was wedged in with only room to crawl into it. Not at all good for someone with failing legs and 80 years old. Breakfast was okay. Nice coffee service. Friendly staff. Very small rooms.
