Exceptional Location
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at The One Monumental Palace during our time in Porto. The hotel is beautiful and elegant, with a sophisticated atmosphere and a wonderful location right in the heart of the city. It was very convenient for exploring Porto on foot, with so many sights, shops, and restaurants nearby.

My room was beautifully appointed with a balcony and spectacular view, a relaxing place to return to after a full day of sightseeing. The hotel has a lovely combination of historic character and modern luxury, and the common areas are especially beautiful.

The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations making our time in Porto easier and more enjoyable.

The hotel rate there was on the higher side but I would still recommend a stay there. The one hiccup I had was leaving a personal package for delivery to me in the states. I’m still awaiting the return of my belongings.

Have a monumental stay at The One
Pros:

The location is excellent! Close to all the must see areas of Porto including, Bolhao Market, Lello bookshop, Torre dos Clérigos, the Bolhão Market and São Bento Station, allowing easy access to both the historic centre and Porto's shopping and business district.
The staff is always so helpful and full of information on the city. Parking was easy even on a busy street. We will be back!

Great location for city tour
Pros:

Great location if you’re on a city tour. All historical monuments are nearby. Beds are very good and breakfast is outstanding.
Staff needs a little training to meet standards of a five star hotel

Great location in Porto
Pros:

We stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed the location. The rooms were nice but not very large, and our bed wasn’t super comfortable which was surprising given the cost of the room - maybe we were just unlucky. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices for everyone.

The best!
Pros:

Great location, very comfortable fully apponted guest rooms, very helpful and cheerful staff, great Japaneese restaurant off the lobby, great breakfast buffet. You can't go wrong with this one!

From the moment we stepped into this hotel, it exceeded all our expectations.
