Pros:

Welcoming, good value and great location
Pros:

Really friendly welcome on arrival, good size room and slept well. Wifi strong and great location, very easy walk to Whitechapel station. Clean, comfortable, good value, would stay again

Ok, but expensive for what we got
Pros:

The location was good for us 20 minutes walk to Tower Hill or underground to Tottenham Court Road

Cons:

Despite being given an "upgrade" I was a little disappointed with the room we were given as I don't feel that it matched the pictures from the website which showed being light and airy, but we were given a basement room which was quite dark. The windows in our room were pavement level and as such were frosted and had metal grates over them. When people were stood on the path outside our room, it was noisy and cigarette smoke would blow in.
What light we did get in the morning was not blocked out by the curtains that were not wide enough for the window, which led to early wakes ups!!
We had an air con unit, but the vent was sitting loose in the room, so it was pumping cold air out the front and hot air out the back!!
The TV was not tuned in and couldn't find any channels and all of the streaming services seemed to be logged in to previous users accounts but none would connect, so the TV was useless and we had to make do with watching our phones instead.
There was a mystery cable plugged into an extension lead that lead up into the roof. We later worked out it was connected to another extension lead that was running the fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine!!
Despite the above points , overall the place isn't bad, but I feel it was way overpriced for what we got

Hot and uncomfortable
Pros:

The location is great, and the staff helpful

Cons:

The room was incredibly hot, unbearably so. There is no air conditioning so I asked if the window can be opened and was assured it could, but it opens onto a laundry and there really was no air at all. The staff offered to bring in a portable AC, but it was a dehumidifier not an AC so it did not help. They tried, but the proposed solution didn't help. The adjacent laundry also means staff go through the room to get to it, which really reduces privacy. I think this room should not be used for guests, it really is unsuitable.

OK for 1 night stay
Pros:

Stuff was very friendly and polite. Room was very clean, had a fan what was really good in that weather.

Cons:

Room was so tiny, we stayed in a "family room". It had 1 double bed, and 3 armchair what was opened as a bed. My 8 and 11 years old was comfortable but my 17 years old barely could fit in it. Double bed was also small I'm 174 cm but my feet was not fit on a bed. With those bed open we had a tiny little space left to move. Coffee machine in a room was not working, had a very fancy coffee machine at the reception, what we could use but we could only choose espresso, other options was blocked. Hotel is next to a hospital, we wake up couple of times for sirens and emergency helicopter landing.

Gentleman on front desk was as polite as they come. Genuine guy who we had a laugh with. Even offered to buy us some lag

The hotel room was spotless. Bed was comfortable and the room was a family room which was plenty big enough for 2

Cons:

Only issue was nothing to do with the property but its location. A bit of noise around 11pm from people outside smoking and drinking. But didn’t last long. So not really an issue
