The size of the room when you have two people
We loved the decor in the lobby and the location. The bed was comfy.
The location, the cleanliness of the room, and the friendliness of the staff.
The bathroom was a bit small. I did like that the sink and mirror were outside of the bathroom and accessible to others, though.
Breakfast was varied and tasty. Fresh fruit and avocado 👏
Bathroom was efficient but I am not a fan of it being in the middle of the room with little privacy. That is a personal choice.

The property is delightful, like any CitizenM. Extremely clean, the rooms smell fresh. The best part of CitizenM is that while they are small rooms and have few amenities- they do all of the basics EXTREMELY well. The beds are phenomenally comfortable, the towels are thick and dry extremely well, the double blinds are awesome, it’s easy to connect to the tv, and the lobby is friendly without being intrusive. And the breakfast is absolutely worth it!
The location is fabulous, you can walk literally anywhere. That being said, at night there’s plenty of homeless or drug addicted people within a short walk of the property which makes it a little unpleasant to walk to/from. No fault of the hotel though. They missed our note about a special event, but remedied on the last day.
The lobby and common area is like nothing I've never seen! Amazing seating areas, books to borrow, games and very friendly environment. The breakfast had a cost, but it was a huge selection and a full breakfast buffet for several hours (until check out time). The room is very modern and cool with a shower that has LED lights which you can pick the color of. The King room reminds me of a cabin on a boat - a bit bigger but very efficiently built. TV over the bed was great!!
The biggest downfall is the beds. if you are comfortable on a futon, this is for you, but for anyone else, it will likely be a concern. The room is also driven by an Ipad which is great when it work - mine needed admin help and it took 3 requests to get it addressed. I wanted to love this place and there were so many cool good things outside of the beds, but that is a deal breaker for me. If they fixed that I'd be back again!

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed my time. The staff were welcoming, polite, and great to talk to. The atmosphere, the layout, the “vibe” of the hotel was great. The location was perfect as everything we did or needed was either in walking distance or a 8 minute or less drive. Honestly was really happy with my choice.
Only thing to even criticize and it’s outside of really any control would be parking and the room size. As far as parking, I was about to find accommodation fairly easy to the point were I didn’t have to pay so even that wasn’t a negative but was just something I had to figure out when I got there. Also the rooms were small but I’m used to taking cruises so that was an easy adjustment. I would remember to add an outlet by the window so if there’s more then one guest they don’t have to constantly ask or reach over the person next to them in order to get their phone.
