Great warm welcome, size of my room, great location.

As a cyclist I was staying at the Dolce Casa Hotel in 2024 and 2025 and I was looking forward to my third stay at this place in October 2026. However this time I had a very unpleasant time there. When I arrived with my bicycle I was told by the front desk manager that my bike has to stay outside at a designated parking space as this is a new regulation. The last two years I was encouraged to park my road bike at the back inside the house. I told this the manager and asked since when this regulation is in place. He answered from today on. As it was not acceptable by me to park my road bike in the open in front of the house I offered to park behind the house in the shed which he denied. After some back and forth I was ready to leave but as I had paid beforehand I was told “no refunds” and stayed for one night with my road bike parked outside. I noticed that other cyclists had to do the same and felt uncomfortable doing so.
So it ended up being the most unpleasant experience regarding hotel staff in all my travels to Korea since 2005. Congratulations to this hotel!. Needless to say I won’t return to this place which I thought to be a nice place to stay remembering the last two years.
I advice other cyclists to stay somewhere else (there are many nice motels and hotels along the Bukhangang River) as you are certainly not welcome here!
La camera con vista sul fiume, confortevole, bella e spaziosa. Hotel facile da trovare. Molto pulito. Ristoranti a volontà e molto più vicini di quanto indicato su booking. Per me che sono runner, percorso lungo e magnifico per la corsa sul lungofiume. Senza auto forse è più difficile muoversi.

Beautiful and very clean
room. Quiet. It is possible to open the window, which I like. Beautiful reception as well. The owner of the hotel asked me to put the bicycle inside a room by the reception on the first floor. I appreciated that very much

딱히 문제라고 하긴 어려운데 집 침대와 달리서인지 자고 나서 개운 하지는 않습니다.

Great place by the river. The friendly staff stored my bicycle overnight
The room was just OK, clean enough and the bed OK to sleep on. The main things we didn't like about the hotel was the attitude of the staff and the breakfast. When we came in with our children, the looked upset and told us to make sure we didn't bring the stroller into the room (which we wouldn't anyways). Breakfast was the bare minimum - no-name instant ramen, bread w a toaster and jam, and hard-boilled eggs (onsen eggs). the strange thing is that there are signs telling you to sort your garbage and wash your dishes after you eat! Never seen that in a hotel before. The two workers came in breakfast room a couple times and just looked like they were upset about something all the time. We got a decent sleep there, but wouldn't stay again.
