Pros:

Trilion Boutique City Hotel
Na hotelu Trilion Boutique City Hotel se nám moc líbilo. Měli jsme zarezervovaný standardní dvoulůžkový pokoj, ale z důvodu plné kapacity nám bez příplatku dali rovnou ten nejlepší pokoj v celém hotelu. Skvělý dojem podtrhnul i velice milý personál v hotelovém baru na střeše. Pobyt jsme si opravdu užili a hotel můžeme jen doporučit!

I would say 3star not 5star hotel
Pros:

About the hotel only the staff were amazing and calm

Cons:

Property is next to graveyard. Property rooms are same shown in the picture but smell in everyroom was bad. Regarding cleaning i har to remind the hotel everytime what to clean as they always left something uncleaned. Amenties as said are not availble blow driyer dental kits comb ETC

Catfished
Pros:

Maintenance issues caused us to stay at the sister hotel (Express). But online states these issues have been there for months… got catfished into booking a mid stay. But paid premium prices.

Cons:

We had to be moved to their sister hotel, we wasn’t made aware of these issues. (1am) when we tried to check in, was prebooked the morning. They plenty of time to notify us…otherwise we could have booked elsewhere,

I had an excellent stay at Trillium Boutique Hotel Colombo 7. The service was outstanding, and every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making my stay comfortable. The customer care was exceptional, with attention to every detail.

A special thank you to the receptionist, Poorna, for the warm welcome, kindness, and outstanding hospitality. Poorna went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made me feel truly valued as a guest. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a memorable stay in Colombo.

Ik zou dit hotel zelf niet meer uitkiezen.
Pros:

Het zwembad was top met een geweldig uitzicht over de skyline van Colombo.

Cons:

Onze kamer was niet (goed) schoongemaakt. Er lag nog een mandarijnen schil, een flesje water half aangebroken en de prullenbak was niet geleegd.
Ook lagen er haren in het bed.
Het tapijt was erg smerig, één van de ramen sloot niet goed waardoor er altijd een grote kier was en twee vitrages hingen niet helemaal vast.

Insgesamt punktet das Hotel mit den schönen Zimmern und dem hervorragenden Service an der Rezeption. Beim Frühstück best
Pros:

Wir hatten insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren modern und schön eingerichtet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal an der Rezeption. Esmi, Matheesha, Poorna und Druveen waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Sie haben sich stets viel Mühe gegeben und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns willkommen gefühlt haben.

Cons:

Leider gab es beim Frühstück deutliche Mängel. Obwohl wir ein Zimmer inklusive Frühstück gebucht hatten, wurde uns zunächst mitgeteilt, dass kein Frühstück mehr verfügbar sei, da offenbar nicht genügend vorbereitet worden war. Anschließend wurde zwar schnell improvisiert und uns etwas zu essen gebracht, allerdings entsprach die Qualität des Frühstücks nicht unseren Erwartungen. Auch der Kaffee hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt.

We checked into the hotel around 10:00 PM. Upon arrival, I requested a simple birthday amenity, such as a small piece of cake, for my wife's birthday the following day. Unfortunately, the staff said it was too late to arrange anything and simply told us to purchase one from the barista.

When we entered our room (Room 402), we were extremely disappointed. Although we had booked a double room, we were assigned a room with an interconnecting door.Throughout the night, we were unable to sleep because of the noise from the neighboring room, and light continuously came through the gap beneath the connecting door.

The room itself was far below expectations. The hot water was not working, the tables were dusty and had dried milk stains, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bed linen looked old and worn out. The balcony was filthy, covered with crow droppings and a strong unpleasant smell, making it impossible to even open the balcony door.

We requested two bathrobes, but both were provided without waist ties. The towels were old, torn, and had holes in them. Despite the booking being for two guests, the room had only one small bottle of drinking water and tea and coffee amenities for only one person. Even the toilet roll was already half used. Overall, the room felt as though it had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests.

Because we checked in so late, we requested a late check-out, but the request was declined, with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked. Considering the condition of the room and the overall experience, this was difficult to believe.

To make matters worse, when we checked out and handed over the room key, we were asked to wait while the room was inspected before we could leave. Being asked to stand at the reception while our room was checked, in front of other guests, made us feel as though we were suspected of taking something from the room, which was both embarrassing and unprofessional.

Disappointed loyal customer.

It has always been the location. This was my 5th stay at this hotel because of that.

Cons:

It seems the hotel owner is building another hotel in town and has depleted the service staff by sending the experienced people to the new place. I had a problem with the TV not working and it took 4 attempts over 3 days to fix that. Linen supplied was torn and old, breakfast prices were exorbitant and there was no tea, coffee or fruit juices even at those prices. The airport taxi service was a disaster and I found out that Voyento sublet to Kangaroo cabs and charges us customers almost 40% on to the original price. Example - Kangaroo cabs charge 8000 rupees from the airport to Hotel.
Voyento charges 13000 rupees for same journey. I am posting a report of this on social media warning travellers not to use Voyento. The Manager at the hotel did her best to help, but she was hampered by a lack of experienced staff.
