The room was large and the bed was comfortable. AC worked well. Hotel was responsive and accommodating about my flight delay and was able to arrange transportation from the airport for my late arrival.
The hotel is far from the main town. You need to drive there. If you don’t have a car, the hotel has drivers that can take you, but it’s $30 one way to drive approximately 15-20 minutes, which is absurd. They should look into offering shuttles into town for free or cheaper instead. Also, staff was not very friendly, either the exception of Cheryl, a male waiter whose name I’ve forgotten, and Roman. They didn’t offer to help with my suitcase when I arrived. This was fine as I was on the first floor, but a guy arrived just before me and they didn’t offer to help him take his luggage upstairs either. Everything was overpriced too, for what it was. There weren’t that many vegetarian options on the restaurant menu either. Would’ve liked to be able to try a vegetarian Guyanese curry.
Well kept, maids did a great job.
Rooms were hot, AC units could keep up. Staff was deplorable. Worst hotel staff I’ve ever seen for the level of hotel. Food took forever. I waited about 90 minutes for one meal and the average was about 50 minutes. Also you were constantly ignored. It was so bad.
Food was OK but expensive.
Some staff were really helpful.
The property is right next to a very busy road and all rooms that I have stayed in are very noisy all night and day with traffic noise.
Some bar staff were great, others were rude and ignored us.

The Grand Coastal is in a good location, just outside the main city centre, making it convenient while avoiding some of the busier traffic. The facilities are reasonable, although parts of the property are currently undergoing construction, which can affect the overall experience.
The food is acceptable with a decent selection, and while the staff can be helpful, the level of service can be inconsistent at times. Overall, it's a fair option if you're looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient location, particularly once the ongoing improvements are complete.

It was great. We checked in a bit early. The room was very clean. Entire hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Only had a bit of issue with the TV amd cable. Me and my son enjoyed the pool. My husband enjoyed the Sunday's brunch.
Absolutely horrid and misleading. When we booked the deluxe queen room we were told there's a complimentary breakfast .however the following morning we were told that wasn't the case. The bathroom happens to be a bathtub ; a very tiny space where its either you let the shower curtain touch your skin or risk the entire bathroom being flooded. The bar was closed at 10 pm even though they are guests at the hotel..the place is atrocious. We even checked out before time because the vacation was completely ruined .
Overall it was good stay. Reception was very helpful. My kids liked the hotel. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone taking a trip out of Ogle since it's close to the airport.
The breakfast was excellent with good flavour. Also the free coffee & tea was the first i encountered at a hotel. This was great. The Hotel was very close to the wedding house and the airport. This made my life much easier in the terms of travelling. The entire staff, from the guys at the hotel entrance to the staff serving the food and the bar tenders , the cleaners was very very friendly and hard working. This great, they made as feel at home with pleasant manners as a complete team serving the general public. The only thing, is that the hotel name should be highlighted at junction for tourists detection. What can i say, i love both outdoor & indoor dining, the layout of bar with excellent stools around the bar and the relaxation area with a television. I believe that is why people recommended Grand Coastal Hotel to me and wife . And i will do the same. Thanks very much for having us.

The hotel was clean and room comfortable. The restaurant staff was very nice and friendly and accommodating. Took the taxi service back to the airport. Was excellent service by the driver.

The room was pretty clean and well kept. Overall a comfortable stay and the staff was accommodating.
