A Perfect Spot
Pros:

The Arashiyama is well priced , the convenient has beautiful river views & is convenient. The staff are very caring .
The amenities were well thought out.
The beds were comfortable, cute tiny little bathroom was functional.
The breakfast beautifully prepared also the most enjoyable breakfast that I had in Japan.

Cons:

Nothing ,I loved this more then the more expensive 5 star hotels I stayed in .

4年后再次住宿，新装了电梯，客房也重新装修过了。岚山附近算是性价比非常高的住宿。以后也会继续利用。

An oasis of comfortable rest and a perfect base for exploring the west (of Kyoto)
Pros:

This place was a bit above my cheap price range (this comment only reflects my own cheapness) and it blew every expectation out of the water. The location was great as a base for an early morning trip to Arashiyama bamboo forest and beating the crowds. The view from the room itself is absolutely stunning. The room was very spacious and very comfortably furnished and I slept wonderfully. Honestly, it was so comfortable that I went back to bed after my early Arashiyama jaunt and waited for the temples in the area to open… probably because I didn’t want to leave, too.

Cons:

It exceeds expectations. Location. View from the room. Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Comfort of the beds and the room itself.

Pros:

The staff here are extremely friendly and polite. I arrived late and wasn't able to check in until 10 PM, but the hotel staff waited for me patiently. Both the evening and morning front desk receptionists were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Great hospitality—thank you!

Fantastic! A perfect location to explore Arashiyama on foot.
Pros:

The front desk staff was extremely helpful. They were willing to make telephone calls for us, recommend restaurtants, etc. in a genuinely pleasant manner. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Arashiyama.

超快適
Pros:

お部屋は改装されてあまり経ってないのか、綺麗で清潔感あり広かったです。３階でしたが、眺望もよく嵐山の山々、渡月橋がよく見えました。
スタッフの皆様が大変感じ良く、優しく接していただきました。朝食はビジネスホテルとは思えないぐらい豪華で美味しかったです。ぜひまた訪れたいと思いました。

Pros:

Rooms well equipped and reasonably sized. Staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The Japanese breakfast was affordable and delicious. They have four bikes available to guests which is great for going to shops/ coin laundry’s.

Cons:

Bathroom is smaller but similar to many hotels in Japan.
