The Lao Poet - the best thing about our stay in Vientiane
Pros:

Great location, decor, bedrooms, roof top bar and pool, à la carte breakfast and exceptional staff. An ATM at the airport ate my credit card when we arrived and the staff moved heaven and earth to ensure it was recovered the next morning. Highly recommend the Lao Poet as a base to explore Vientiane, close to the Mekong River and the main tourist attractions.

Pros:

Great quiet location just around corner from food night market. Very peaceful hotel.

Cons:

Breakfast was good but evening meal not so much. Concrete room decor didn't work for me. Air conditioning a little loud.

Very accomodating hotel staff and great location
Pros:

Breakfast was awesome. I had a suite which was spacious and very nice. Best of all was how nice and accomodating the staff was. Location near Mekong River, restaurants, and night markets was great.

Cons:

There was no regular TV, you had to bring a thumb drive to watch TV. I get my news via the internet and I am mostly a reader so this was not a big issue,

Pros:

This hotel is charming and has a lovely vibe. The rooms were very comfortable, and spacious. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was probably the best we've had anywhere in our long trip through south east asia and the location was brilliant. I highly recommend this place.

Pros:

This was a lovely little hotel in the centre of Vientiane. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, lovely roof top pool with bar, fantastic staff and service and tasty breakfast. We loved it!

Pros:

La décoration de l’établissement, les chambres spacieuses, une salle de bain génialissime, la piscine en rooftop avec possibilité de se prendre un apéro Sunset, la localisation etc… et le personnel très attentif et professionnel

Zentral gelegenes und trotzdem ruhiges Hotel!
Pros:

Sehr zentral gelegen. In der Nacht sehr ruhig. Betten gut. Alles sauber. Stylische Einrichtung, aber nicht immer praktisch. Pool eignet sich gut zum Schwimmen. Das heiße Wasser ist sehr gut mit starkem Wasserdruck. Kein Teppich, sondern guter Steinfußboden.

Cons:

Die Einrichtung ist in Teilen unpraktisch. Es gibt einen Schrank, aber keine Fächer um etwas einzuräumen. Der Wasserkocher steht im Schrank. Man sucht einen Stromanschluss, den man auch findet. Aber dort ist kaum Platz für den Wasserkocher. Die Beleuchtung ist insgesamt zu schwach, vor allem auch in Bad. Statt Wanne wäre eine Dusche besser. So ist das Bad trotz Duschvorhang nach dem Duschen nass. Die Bettbeleuchtung ist zumindest interessant… die Holzlamellen an den Fenstern verdunkeln das Licht. Es fehlt ein zusätzlich Vorhang, der das Schlafzimmer auch nach Sonnenaufgang abdunkelt. Fazit: alles nett aber wenig durchdacht!
