Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally complain regarding the incorrect charges applied during our recent stay at your hotel.

Booking confirmation number: 5258650310

We stayed at your hotel for 5 nights and had originally booked a Grand Comfort Room. Upon arrival, we requested twin beds instead of one double bed. The receptionist informed us that a similar room with two separate beds was available for an additional charge of €50 for the entire stay, which equals €10 per night. As we had already paid for our original booking, we accepted this additional charge and paid the €50 requested.

However, upon check-out, a different receptionist informed us that we had to pay an additional €200 because the room difference was supposedly €50 per night instead of €50 for the whole stay. As we were in a hurry to catch our train, we had no time to properly discuss or dispute the matter and reluctantly paid the €200.

This situation is completely unacceptable.

If we had been informed from the beginning that the total additional charge would be €250 for the 5 nights, we would never have agreed to change the room. Furthermore, it makes no sense that we were initially charged only €50 if the actual rate difference was allegedly €50 per night.

We also checked the room prices again ourselves and found that the difference between the Grand Comfort Room and the Superior Room is approximately €10 per night, which confirms the information originally given to us at check-in.

Fabulous well located hotel

A great quality built hotel. Short walk to stunning beach and train, With open air, non height restrictions on parking as we had a tall van and found most hotels had underground parking. I believe they also had underground if you preferred. Staff spoke great English very friendly no attitude, couldn’t do enough to help from welcoming reception to dining hall lady and maids. Room was like a lovely large apartment with great air conditioning. Supersized balcony the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on without tons of plastic on it, lovely pillows and I am used to quality! Marble floors and newly renovated shower room great size. Fridge.

Cons:

No English TV channels !
Not even the news which was disappointing.

Spacious room and nice breakfast. Across from a park and a handy market. Quick walk to beaches and restaurants

Some variety day to day on breakfast would have been good, but was still nice.
