Location amazing. View amazing. Every detail attended to. Beds comfy. Giannis was very helpful. The 2 bedrooms worked well.

Polyxenia Suites is in the "beating heart" of Rethymno's historic Old Town, surrounded by a charming network of narrow streets, local boutique shops, traditional tavernas, and lively bars just steps from the front door of this amazing property, which our very gracious, helpful, and wonderful host Giannis grew up in. Polyxenia Suites is immaculately clean, and obviously well-maintained. Our bed was quite comfortable. Giannis took our bags to our room on the second floor, which was a great help, and most appreciated (despite being both fit and strong for my age - 67 - it's not as easy getting my wife's and my luggage up multiple flights of stairs as it was a couple years ago - thank you Giannis!). For what we paid (having booked months in advance) Polyxenia Suites delivered exceptional value for money. If my wife and I are fortunate to ever return to Rethymno we will absolutely 100% stay again at Polyxenia Suites...we can't say enough good things about our experience.

What a great stay we had at Polyxenia Suites. We were lucky enough to stay on the top floor with absolutely incredible views of Rethymno’s Old Town. There were great restaurants nearby, and I can’t say enough about our Host Giannis. He brought us cake that his mother made and was very responsive to our inquiries. He’s an incredible soul who made us feel right at home. We highly recommend Polyxenia Suites and would definitely book again!

Πρόκειται για ένα κατάλυμα άριστο σε όλα. Πολύ καθαρό, προσεγμένο, άνετο, με ωραία διακόσμηση και σε εξαιρετικό σημείο. Το σημαντικότερο, ωστόσο, και αυτό που κάνει την διαφορά, είναι η άριστη φιλοξενία από τον οικοδεσπότη κύριο Γιάννη. Ευγενέστατος, γεμάτος διάθεση και πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει, ενω πάντα απαντούσε άμεσα σε ό,τι χρειαζόμασταν. Στο δωμάτιο βρήκαμε να μας περιμένει σπιτική ρακί και σπιτικό κέικ, το οποίο έκανε ακόμα πιο ευχάριστη τη διαμονή μας, καθώς δείχνει πραγματικό ενδιαφέρον. Παρόλο που είχαμε ένα πρόβλημα προς το τέλος της διαμονής μας (το οποίο προκαλέσαμε εμείς), ο κύριος Γιάννης παρέμεινε πρόσχαρος και ευγενέστατος, δίνοντας περισσότερο σημασία στο αν περάσαμε εμείς καλά, κατά τη διαμονή μας. Μακάρι να μπορούσα να βάλω περισσότερα αστέρια, καθώς τα 10 φαίνονται λίγα συγκριτικά με την άριστη εμπειρία που είχαμε. Σας ευχαριστούμε για όλα και ανυπομονούμε να επιστρέψουμε στο κατάλυμα σας σε μελλοντικές εξορμήσεις .

The Cretan hospitality in its finest!

The host Giannis is amazing, and the room spacy and beautiful. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and the location is just perfect.

Location was amazing - downtown old city with a balcony and private - views were great.

Giannis nous a très bien accueilli (avec le raki de son père et le gâteau de sa mère), mais aussi avec son sourire et sa bonne humeur. Giannis nous a bien conseillé sur plusieurs restaurants.
L’appartement était propre, bien agencé et idéalement situé.

Polyxenia Suits are located in the heart of the old town, everything you think of is nearby. You can step out and have a hot coffee with pastries or ice cream or gyros just underneath of the suits before exploring the neighborhood . We contacted Giannis in advance with request whether we can leave our luggage in the premises before checking-in. It just happen our flight landed earlier and taxi brought us to the suits 1.5 hours before agreed time. Simply dialled Giannis phone number and were let in. We checked-in early into sparlking suit and were offered pastries baked by Giannis mother. There were tea, coffee, water and even a bottle of rakia as a warm welcome from the host. Next day our room was cleaned and a fresh homebaked coconut cake was meeting us with its aroma :-). Giannis was very kind and offered us to stay after check out time as our flight was late in the evening. Huge thank you, Giannis! we hope to be back :-)

La ubicacion y la habitacion era muy amplia

Апартамента е много чист, перфектно местоположение в идеалния център на стария град, има тераса към малко площадче. Собственика Янис е много любезен и отзивчив. Имаше кафе и коледни сладки🧑‍🎄. Пак бихме се върнали на същото място защото покрива всичките ни изисквания. Здраве и късмет Янис!

Muy bonita habitación, aunque haya estado por trabajo, me pareció ideal para parejas también. La ubicación muy buena y la limpieza súper.
