Not to mention the beauty of the villages you’ll encounter along the route from Salerno. Accompanied by a guide who, in addition to assisting you at the port and providing schedules and landmarks, is also ready to share stories and descriptions and answer all your questions.
By scheduled hydrofoil, after about an hour’s journey, you’ll reach Positano, “the vertical city,” perched almost sheer over the sea—one of Italy’s most enchanting and picturesque seaside villages. Free time and a stop of about 3 hours.
Amalfi: free time to visit the splendid monumental complex of St. Andrew, with its marvelous mosaics, cloister, crypt, and cathedral. You can stroll through charming white-washed alleys or visit the interesting paper museum. Stop of about 2 hours, then boarding for Salerno.
