The itinerary can be adapted to your interests and available time, with visits to the Golden Circle’s main highlights, including Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss Waterfall and Kerið crater. A stop at Friðheimar Tomato Farm may also be included, subject to opening hours and availability.

1Pingvellir National Park
Thingvellir National Park is one of Iceland’s most important historical and geological sites. Here, travelers can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and learn about Alþingi, Iceland’s historic parliament, founded in 930. The stop also offers excellent views across the rift valley and surrounding landscape.

Known around the world for its power and beauty, Geysir gave its name to geysers everywhere. Nearby, the highly active Strokkur erupts every few minutes, sending hot water up to 30 metres into the air. You will also have time in the Geysir area to purchase lunch, refreshments or snacks.
