Korcula Island, Croatia

The lesser-known archipelago, away from the crowds. This tour skips the busy, well-worn stops and sails deeper into the archipelago — to Majsan, a small island with a Roman villa older than Korčula Town itself, and Gubavac, a medieval quarantine island with a reef most visitors to Korčula never find.

Waypoints, not a fixed schedule. The route adapts to the wind, the crowds, and the mood on board. The captain reads the day — not a laminated itinerary. That's why no two tours are exactly alike, and why guests come back.

Lunch grilled on board, at anchor, wherever the boat stops. Not a packed lunch. Not a restaurant with a view. A meal that happens in the middle of the sea, at the right moment, in the right place.

A 15-metre traditional Dalmatian boat, not a speedboat or a catamaran. Wooden, wide-decked, unhurried. Built for this channel. Equipped with a sun deck, tables, and a restroom — everything you need for a full day on the water.

What to expect

You'll board a 15-metre traditional Dalmatian boat and set sail into the Pelješac Channel — the narrow sea passage ancient mariners called the Gates of the Adriatic. On board: tables, a sun deck, a restroom, and a crew intimately connected to these waters and their stories.

The Korčula Boat Adventure Tour sets sail with waypoints, not a fixed itinerary. The history, the swimming, the lunch — all of it happens. Just not always in the same order, or at the same spot.

THE WAYPOINTS
Majsan Island — Where It All Began
A Roman villa stood on Majsan before Korčula Town was built.
Gubavac Island — The Quarantine Island
Every ship arriving at Korčula from Venice or Dubrovnik during the plague years stopped here first.
The Mokalo Shipwreck
A submerged piece of the channel's maritime history, visible for snorkelers and free-divers.
And Beyond — Wherever the Wind Takes Us
Vrnik, Badija, Stupe — you'll pass them, and where the boat ties up depends on three things: the wind, how crowded the shores are, and the collective spirit on board.

At booking, please let us know your menu preference — grilled fish, grilled meat, or vegetarian — so the crew can prepare accordingly.
