Sightseeing Riviera Cruise Korcula

Korcula Island, Croatia

2 to 7 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English

Spend a relaxed day on the Adriatic with a two-hour panoramic cruise around the Korčula Riviera and the small islands that scatter across the sea in front of the Old Town — then stay on the island of your choice for as long as you like.

You set off from Korčula Town harbour at 10:30, sailing out past the medieval walls for one of the best views of the fortified Old Town there is: the stone towers rising straight out of the water, with the Pelješac mountains behind. From there the boat weaves through the archipelago, passing the islands of Stupe, Vrnik and Badija and the coastal village of Lumbarda. The scenery keeps shifting — hidden turquoise bays, rocky beaches, dense pine forest and traditional stone houses — and your captain shares the stories behind them as you go. It is the easiest and most rewarding way to see the little islands that belong to Korčula.

Return schedule:
* Lumbarda – 17:00
* Vrnik – 17:15
* Badija – 17:30
* Korčula – 17:45

Itinerary

Duration: 2 to 7 hours (approximately)
  • Otok Badija (Pass by)

    The largest of the islets off Korčula, covered in pine and cypress and ringed by a footpath that circles the whole island in under an hour. At its heart stands a 14th-century Franciscan monastery with a Gothic cloister, still the island's landmark. Deer roam freely through the woods and often wander down to the paths to meet visitors. There are no cars and no village — just shaded trails, smooth rocky beaches with exceptionally clear water, and a small restaurant by the jetty.

  • (Pass by)

    Vrnik — a car-free stone village of a few dozen houses, an ancient limestone quarry whose stone built cathedrals across the Adriatic, and clear water off the rocks. Peaceful, authentic, and unhurried.

    Admission ticket free
  • Lumbarda (Pass by)

    Lumbarda A village at the eastern tip of Korčula island, set among vineyards that produce Grk, a white wine grown almost nowhere else in the world. It's the one place on the island with real sandy beaches — Pržina and Bilin Žal — both shallow, warm and easy for children. Around them you'll find beach bars, konobas serving fresh fish, and small family wineries where you can taste Grk straight from the cellar. Livelier than the surrounding islets, but still a quiet, low-key place to spend an afternoon.

    Admission ticket free
