This well-loved yet moderately challenging route features nearly 900 meters of elevation gain, offering breathtaking scenery and an authentic glimpse into mountain life. Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Marrakesh. Enjoy a comfortable 64-kilometer drive as the landscape gradually transforms from bustling city streets to dramatic mountain terrain.

The trail climbs steadily through the beautiful Tamatert Valley, passing traditional Amazigh Berber villages such as Ait Souka &Tamatert. Along the way, you will be treated to sweeping views of terraced fields, walnut groves, and the surrounding peaks. Reaching the Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,280 m, pause to appreciate stunning panoramas over both the Imlil and Imnane Valleys From the pass, continue through a serene Moroccan pine forest before following a scenic ridge trail to the summit of Taouadja (2,680 m)At the top, soak in extraordinary views across the Imnane Valley, where remote mountain villages like Oukaimedin summit and Tachdirt rest quietly below After time to relax and capture photos at the summit, begin your descent toward Imlil. A leisurely lunch break along the way provides the perfect moment to recharge while surrounded by mountain tranquility. The day concludes with a comfortable return drive and drop-off in Marrakesh leaving you with lasting memories of the Atlas Mountain

3Imlil
After breakfast, you will start the hike through the national park forest, ascending the hills towards Tidli at an altitude of 2,100 meters. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. From there, you will cross to the left side and descend along a rocky trail to a large village in the Imlil Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant near the waterfalls. After lunch, you will continue your descent to the center of Imlil, where your trek ends. Finally, you will be transferred back to Marrakech.
